The Nintendo Download Update is now live in Europe, though two new releases on the eShop actually arrived earlier in the week. Elsewhere we have a Switch demo, a welcome free update for a huge Wii U title and a mix of other new games and discounts. Let's get to it, shall we?
Nintendo Switch eShop
Tumbleseed (aeiowu, €13.99 / £11.99) - Released earlier in the week this is a project spearheaded by Greg Wohlwend, described as a 'rolly roguelike' in which you carefully balance a seed and navigate it through tricky environments. It's colourful, intriguing and devilishly difficult, as we explain in our Tumbleseed review.
Blazing Star (HAMSTER, €6.99 / £6.29) - Also released earlier in the week, this is widely regarded as one of the Neo Geo's finest blasters, and in its original physical format commands a massive price on the secondary market. As an ACA release it'll have various options for online leaderboard, display settings and more.

Wii U eShop
Citadale - The Legends Trilogy (Nitrolic Games, €4.66 / £3.98 / CHF 4.95 if you own Citadale, otherwise €8.49 / £7.25) - This appears to be an expansion / follow-up to the original Citadale, which 'includes all three chapters of Citadale' and continues the story. We gave the original a modest recommendation.
Triple Breakout (nuGAME, €4.99 / £4.99) - This aims to blend Breakout and Pong mechanics, with the chance to chase high scores, play local multiplayer or compete against the AI.
FIFTEEN (RCMADIAX, €1.49 / £1.39) - Previously released on New 3DS this recreates sliding tile puzzles, but in this case you're trying to arrange numbers into the right order.
Wii U DLC
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Voice Pack (Nintendo, free) - Will add additional languages to the voice track.
Pic-a-Pix Colour - Giant Puzzles 2 (Lightwood Games, €2.99 / £2.99)

Word Puzzles by POWGI (Lightwood Games, €7.19 / £6.39 until 18th May, normally €8.99 / £7.99)
That's the lot for this week in Europe, so let us know what you'll be downloading in the poll and comments below.

Damn I'm happy I've seen that the Blaster Master DLC is free for a limited time. whew. Nice move from the devs too.
Still no Spectre of Torment update for Shovel Knight in Europe? What's going on there?
Gonna have a lot of fun with that Blaster Master Zero DLC though.
FIFTEEN (RCMADIAX, €1.49 / £1.39)
Game of the Year.
Fairly crappy week all round.
Bit Dungeon+ for the Wii U especially with the discount would be a good recommendation.
Aww, I wanted some TG16 too. We're now behind 2 games....
...
...
Shovel Knight Spectre of Tornment update for Europe please.
Was looking forward to downloading Rayman 3 on the GBA. Damn you region lock!
Might download Blazing Star.
I'll pass.
Blaster Master Zero (Switch demo) is it for now from this list.
Why didn't you guys list NBA Playgrounds?Isn't it coming the same day in the North America and Europe? You listed it on the North American article
No Garou??? I've got Blaster Master meanwhile. Good to know there's some fresh content to it
No nba playgrounds for Europe?
Where is Shovel Knight upgrade for 3DS???
Voicepack, that price is right!
Blaster Master Zero demo for me I think. Tumbleseed is not my thing, but another week with another quality indie release is very reassuring.
I'll wait for reviews of NBA Playgrounds, I've already got Tumbleseed - extremely difficult but charming nonetheless, and I'll check out the Master Blaster demo as I've read good things
Still waiting on the Shovel Knight DLC... and Gotta Protectors.
@PtM I think it's roughly 900MB when installed, but it does need about 1800MB to install.
BMZ (demo) for me. Playing it may even tempt me into paying full whack.
How come the voice pack is only for Wii U? Or does the Switch already have other languages? It might be interesting to play again in Japanese at a later date…
@ChessboardMan An update for the Switch version includes an option to select the language in the options menu.
My guess is the Wii U version only included languages for the discs region, so this DLC provides the rest for the region. So you could now select the French (Canadian) language for example.
Not an incredible week by any means. I'll wait on a sale for Tumbleseed.
I'm having a nice day though, I just picked up Kamiko, Blaster Master and Mario Kart 8D (physical) today. Finally got the 'all software' button on my Switch. Yay.
Already got Blazing Star and the voice update for Zelda on Switch. Will get the extra character in Blaster Master Zero later.
Blazing Star is much more accessible than Alpha Mission II (it's hard, but there's no confusion about the power-ups). The pre-rendered graphics really date it, and I actually think Alpha Mission II has nicer sprites. Still good though.
YASSS! Language pack for BOTW.
...not that I've minded the English version. It's been rather nice.
@crackafreeze I just checked it. It's on the eshop to be released on the 9th.
Looks like a lot of fun:)
Will be getting NBA when thats released, however everything else on the list is kind of wack!
Just the demo plus BOTW update for now
Nintendo is sometimes so unpredictable, I wonder if there's still hope for ExciteBots coming on the European WiiU eShop.
@RupeeClock Specter of Torment is already available on PlayStation platforms. Just sayin'.
@Mahe What makes you think I own any Playstation systems?
Voice pack is DLC? Weird, I thought they said it would be an update.
Will get Bit Dungeon plus as it looks good and I can't resist a sale.
Probably won't ever play it though...
I picked up Blazing Star & the Gunvolt DLC for Blaster Master Zero.
I might go for Pyramids on the 3DS eShop, but think I'm the only one
@PtM Content from updates is optional too though, and that wasn't the point I was making anyway.
Bought FIFTEEN on N3DS. RCMADIAX gets some bad press for many of his games, but this is fine, a pleasant time-waster at a very attractive price. Loved those sliding puzzles as a kid.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Normally, I'd agree, but FIFTEEN isn't that bad, if limited in scope. Might check out BitDungeon + too.
