Happy E3 week to one and all; unsurprisingly we have the European Nintendo Download Update details to get it started. We have puzzle platforming on Wii U and frantic run-and-gun action on the 3DS as new releases, along with a retail download targeting young gamers. Fire Emblem Fates gets its biggest DLC yet, while there are also a lot of discounts across both of Nintendo's systems; let's get to it.
Wii U eShop
Twin Robots (Ratalaika Games, €4.99 / £4.49) - Visually this one certainly has vibes similar to Chibi-Robo!: Zip Lash, with 2.5D visuals and plenty of platforming and simple puzzles. It also features local multiplayer co-op, as an extra bonus, so it'll be interesting to see whether this one has all of the required parts to be a good game; we'll get cracking on a review.

3DS DLC
Fire Emblem Fates: Map 7 Hidden Truths 1 + 2 (Nintendo, €4.49/ £4.09) - Best played after clearing Revelation, this provides more context on how the Hoshido and Nohr sides came to war.

Not much of a week this time around, but at least we'll get a ton of Zelda reveals. I'll get the Fates DLC once I've finished Revelation.
Darksiderss 2
Fates DLC as always. I totally think Treehouse Live will provide surprises like MK8 DLC and Mother 3 this week as there's no chance this is everything.
Hopefully NA will get a VC game this week but the likelihood is slim given EU is not getting one.
Majors mask VC!!!! Come on!!!!
I will watch 5 minutes of Zelda, but other than that Nintendo is DEAD this e3. And theybare pretty much dead this gen now until NX POTENTIALLY-and I put emphasis on the word potential- resurects the company.
Just wake up Nintendo, or you will go the way of Sega...Oh and nothing for me this week. Big surprise...
I think I'll have Legend of Kay for £4.99,I should get 30 gold points for it as well.Hopefully Nintendo will add some worthwhile MyNintendo rewards over E3.
I was just thinking about how little rumours we've had this past week or so.Normally in the build up to E3 there is loads flying around but with Nintendo, nothing. It's all a bit depressing really.
@BensonUii Yeah, I suspect there'll be more download details to come out of LA
Nothing for me this week. The discounts are lame compared to last week. Probably keeping stuff until E3. Like Earthbound 3.
Nowt again.
Wow, just give up already!
Just look at those discounts. So much utter crap, and those represent a large proportion of what's available especially on Wii U.
Basically nothing worth paying for.
some cool stuff, the box boy theme, fire emblem dlc, and I'm definitely getting Gunslugs too 😃 I hope E3 brings us some surprises though... I still want GBA VC on the New 3DS 🙁
Absolutely nothing. Pitiful.
Gunslugs for me.
The thumbnail for this article was indication enough that there is going to be absolute bugger all this week.
Was hoping for no update so we'd be more likely to get some good E3 stuff. Ninty are doing a great job of managing my E3 expectations.
It's like they're not even trying. There are so many VC games alone that could be released on Wii U and 3DS eShops it boggles the mind why it just doesn't happen. Or how many wanted VC games only release in Japan.
So... is it pretty much that they decided not to release anything because of discounts? I hope NA isn't like this. lol
Perhaps I'm too optimistic, but I'm hoping they'll give out Legend of Zelda Four Swords again this week. I want to play it, but missed out last time it was available.
I was so excited for this week's sales on 3DS, and I've got to say I'm really disappointed. There had better be some surprise E3 sale because this is shocking.
@crimsontadpoles same here, really gutted I missed that one!
Since it seems to all be about zelda reveals.... I'm hoping they put 4 swords anniversary edition back on the eshop.
@crimsontadpoles I didn't see your post before I made mine, but I agree.
Wow, this list of "offers" looks like Nintendo took out all their garbage. Even when you delete all of that off the eShop - wont make any difference. The shop is rotting away ...
I might get AeternoBlade at that price.
Another week, another no break the bank to buy cheap titles. Seriously the eShop is dying here.
Nothing for this week but I would recommend Darksiders 2 n Legend of Kay for those prices well worth it.
cricket sound
Chibi robo zip lash wii u? Where did that come from?
@Kimyonaakuma your imagination.....I think you're mixed up buddy
Re-read the part about that game (different name etc.) And it will all become clear!
Quiet week but let's face it, who cares right now?? Big sale from last week+ e3 news and possible promotions means this e shop update was pretty irrelevant....imo
Wow, that certainly is a lot of sales (combined with last week)!
I wonder what's in store for NA tomorrow.
Could the Boxboy theme perhaps hint that Europe and Americas is getting the Boxboy sequel soon?
Now that would be amazing if so.
Would've bought Darksiders 2, if it was the re-release one. One of the game i regret not buying at launch, but now i got the re-release on Steam.
