PDP is a company that has long since manufactured relatively high quality hardware for Nintendo consoles. Be it a GameCube Fight Pad or a headset for playing games online, PDP is a name that can be relied upon far more so than others like Madcatz. While the company has been rather quiet lately on new releases for Nintendo consoles, it just recently made a new announcement for some upcoming storage options that many will likely find pleasing.
Pre-orders have recently opened for a Donkey Kong 3DS Game Cartridge Holder and a Super Mario Pipe amiibo Display. The Donkey Kong Barrel can hold up to eight DS or 3DS cartridges and a few extra styluses and the amiibo stand can proudly display one amiibo at a time. Take a look:

Love how the DK Barrel looks, I'd definitely pick up one if they sell this in stores locally so I can store my old DS games in style.
The Warp Pipe amiibo stand looks awesome; I wish they would release other stands to match all the different amiibo characters. I don't think my Marth or Shulk would look that good on a warp pipe...
The DK barrel is really nice, though! I'm not a big fan of the DK series, so I won't be getting this, but this looks amazing, nevertheless.
I love that DK barrel! Definitely getting it when it comes out (I'm a sucker for those sorts of things). I like the warp pipe stand but, depending on the price, I'm not sure if it will be worth it considering it can only display ONE Amiibo. Also, I agree with @Blue_Blur, whenever you go into a store all the Amiibo accessories like carrying cases and stands are all Mario themed. Mario is not the only Amiibo people.
Both look great but in the end it will be the price that will determine if I get them.
Edit- looked up online. Both are $9.99.
Accessories for amiibos. Unbelievable. What is this world coming to?
At first the barrel seems pointless...but when you think about...it's slightly annoying having to find the game I'm looking for in my 3DS case. lol
checks barrel's page
...The Super Mario World title? Wat? lol
I would like the barrel if the game cards were not out in the open like that.
if only the barrel had a bunch of bananas lid to keep it closed to prevent dust.
I could easily see a pokeball version for the pokemon. A single piece of triforce for LOZ maybe.
If that DK barrel comes to UK amazon I must get it!
I agree with PDP being high quality I ordered a really nice stackable stand for Disney Infinity about 6 months ago and it even holds the portal on the top. Made storing figures very handy.
The DK barrel looks nice but leaves the game cards open for dust so it's not ideal. I'll stick to my current plastic 3DS game card case that can store up to 22 games.
That pipe would look cool with the 30th anniversary pixel Mario on top...
@Tsurii
I was thinking that at first but what would sheik have?
Getting the DK barrel if it gets here.
I'll buy neither, although they both look cool.
Throws money at screen Give me that DK Barrel!
They are both super cute. If I ever have money again (and they are still available haha) I'll pick up em.
Like most others here I love that DK Barrel!
Not a fan of the pipe Amiibo stand though. The base looks fussy (would be better without it) and it only works for the Mario themed ones - of which I only have Bowser Jr anyway.
Nice! I will be getting the amiibo "accessories."
That DK barrel though oh my god....
The pipe is kinda cool but I prefer that Super Mario stairblocks up the Bowser flag display they sell for $30USD in most stores now.
@pikminfan22 Can I ask where you got your avatar / icon from? I've been looking for that character's book series for a long time.
@pikminfan22 Thanks so much!!!!
I love the DK barrel, but I own over a dozen styluses of varying lengths and thickness. I need the whole barrel open to fit them all, and I don't think the game holder keeps dust out of carts.
