Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley hits North American stores on 4th November, the latest franchise entry for 3DS and one of its most ambitious titles to date. While the blend of farming, relationship building and RPG elements will be present and correct, this entry offers significant editing tools to shape the landscape itself by digging caves, building mountains and more.
An interesting option for North America, though 3DS owners in Europe and PAL territories have been left out so far. Thankfully Swedish publisher Bergsala Lightweight and Natsume have struck a deal to bring the title to these countries in Q1 2015, meaning an extra wait but the pleasing reality that it will eventually arrive — as opposed to being stuck in localisation purgatory.
You can see an announcement trailer below, so let us know if you're eagerly awaiting this one's arrival.

Bergsala is really shaping up! Club Nintendo in the horizon perhaps?
I am certainly thinking of getting this game sometime in the future, really like the look of it. The graphics look impressive for a 3DS game. In the meantime I am still busy playing Fantasy Life.
@Nintendzoey The graphics look really bad to me, lol.
@willgord Bergsala and Bergsala Lightweight are two different things. They may have the same mother company, but Bergsala Lightweight have been publishing games for a long time. As far as I know, Rising Star Games is even a joint venture between Bergsala and Marvelous, so there's nothing special about this publishing deal..
It's Harvest Moon in name only, and has nothing to do with the actual Harvest Moon series of games developed by Marvelous AQL.
Natsume have previously published the games without developing them. They are for some reason developing this game and calling it Harvest Moon when it actually is not.
The real next installment of Harvest Moon by Marvelous AQL is Story of Seasons.

Got my $ pre-loaded ready for the 4th. No way I'm waiting for next year..
@KJ85 Oh ok, I did'nt notice the lightweight part.
They should make a Harvest Moon game for the Wii U! Think of the gamepad possibilities!
Also they should just make Animal Crossing x Harvest Moon already
This trailer actually makes me want to play the game. The graphics appear to have an odd charm to them that one would feel if they took Back to Nature/64 and simply made it in 3D.
I do hope for the next one we see A Wonderful Life style one and maybe even a GBC style one?
This looks like Minecraft, but looks cute ^_^
Can we hope for Scandinavian translations?
A knockoff. I'll wait for Marvelous' next release.
The game seems interesting, but I it still seems kinda shady to me that they're reusing the Harvest Moon name rather than giving it an original name.
All it tells me is they feel they need the Harvest Moon name to sell their game, which is pretty disingenuous to both the customer and themselves. Why not make this apart of Hometown Story?
@scamander To each their own
