It's that time again

Europeans, think you've got what it takes to be the very best? Then you can compete in this year's Pokémon European Video Game Championships, in the hope of battling it out to earn a Travel Award to the 2013 Pokémon World Championships in Vancouver, Canada, this coming August.

Trainers from all over Europe and of all skill levels are encouraged to compete in these open events, which this year will be held in three major cities - Milan, Bochum and Birmingham; competitors must play using Pokémon Black & White 2. Write the following dates into your diaries should you wish to compete:

Sunday 2nd June - Birmingham, UK.

For the first time this year, competitors will have the opportunity to play in multiple rounds over the course of the event — meaning players are not eliminated after a single loss — allowing you to continue playing Pokémon all day.

As usual, there's the list of restricted Pokémon, so be sure to check the Official Pokémon website for all the details.
