Review Overcooked: Special Edition (Switch eShop)
Part of the draw and charm of the Nintendo Switch is the increased focus that it puts on local multiplayer. Nintendo has always been the king of that style of play, but the Switch takes this to a whole new level when you combine the portability factor with at least two controllers that are always ready to go. About The Game
Get ready for the ultimate arcade-style couch cook-off in Overcooked: Special Edition for Nintendo Switch.
Journey through a variety of cruel and unusual kitchens on a quest to become master chefs capable of conquering an ancient edible evil which plagues the land. Play solo or engage in classic, chaotic couch co-op for up to four players in both co-operative and competitive challenge modes. Overcooked: Special Edition features the original game, plus all of the downloadable content. With HD rumble integration, you can feel every chop through a tomato and the slosh of soup in a pot.
When does this come out?!
I have the steam version of this game, is very funny. And of course i have the switch version now. But something is wrong. The loading times remember to the NBA playgrounds before the update. And the movement in the game feels slow. Need a better optimization work
@oselp it's very normal, expect it to be patched soon with a update
Amazing co-op fun for four players! Love it
The ultimate friendship test
The most frustrating $20 we've ever spent. The controls were horrible and made the game barely playable. Perhaps that's part of the game design, keeping things chaotic and hard to play. But there is no reason to make it hard by NOT responding to button presses or intentionally picking up the wrong items.
If you enjoy paying for torture, go for it. Otherwise find something much more relaxing and enjoyable.
