News Steal Wi-Fi, Heavy Metal And A Cup Of Joe As Switch Gets Its Own Coffee Crisis
Alien nation
Back in December we spoke to Mega Cat Studios about its throwback brawler for Mega Drive/Genesis and PC, and now we're pleased as punch to learn that retro homage that is Coffee Crisis is also making its way to Nintendo Switch in 2018. You'll fill the shoes of the last two baristas on Earth, so you'll be able to link up with a friend...
About The Game
Save the Metal, Save the World, Save the Coffee!
Coffee Crisis is an arcade-style beat 'em up that pays homage to the 90's era of classic arcade and 16-bit brawlers.
The Smurglian race has come to Earth and they're not leaving until they steal our most prized commodities: our metal music, the best coffee, and all of the WiFi. Get in the shoes of the only baristas on Earth with enough heavy metal in their veins to fend off this alien assault.
The game features:
- Single or Local Co-Op Play
- Heavy Metal
- Possessed Grannies
- Dangerous amounts of caffeine
- Random modifiers that could make you an invincible killing machine or summon a swarm of raging possessed cowgirls. Get a unique cup of beat 'em up action every time you play!
Grab a hot mug and save the world!

@Magician Agree brother I didn't get it really, it's 2 hard for me actually and I'm not interested in progressing, nah boring...can you suggest any similar?
@Sim1 - well, you have the classics, either the Sega Genesis Collection (for Streets of Rage & Golden Axe) or the Capcom Beat'em Up Bundle. But if you want something more modern? Castle Crashers or River City Girls.
@Magician Cool I hear u...
