Talking Point Was The GameCube Really A Portable Console In Disguise?
Love handles
If you're a Nintendo fan, then since day one you've probably always had at least two consoles on the go: one for the TV, and one for the car/bus/plane/bed. From 1989's Game Boy to Nintendo's boundary-blurring hybrid Switch, there has always been an option for players on-the-go. But the Nintendo Switch isn't their first foray into home...
Memory Pak If Crashing In Burnout Is Wrong, Then I Don’t Want To Be Right
Car carnage
Happy birthday, GameCube! It's been twenty years since your gorgeous, chunky indigo shape graced our TV stands, and we were all introduced to that beedle-deedle-deedle-deedle-beedle-deedle-beedly-beep, BLUMP. You know the one I mean. The GameCube's catalogue is so stellar that I've already written several features about its games, from...
About The Game
Developed by Guildford-based Criterion Games, Burnout provides pure, unadulterated, heart stopping, thrill-seeking racing action. With multiple cars to select and race, 300 vehicles to interact with as well as real-time vehicle crashes, even the most hardened thrill seeker will get a major adrenalin boost. As BurnoutTM is dual-shock compatible, players will feel every turn and crunch of the car, while the amazing slow motion instant replays dramatically illustrate the massive damage that can be unleashed.
Insane crashes are possible with every turn of the wheel, and competing drivers are rewarded for pushing their driving skills to the extreme. A simulated in-game Burnout thrill monitor gives players incredible bursts of speed as they experience danger and their thrill levels increase.
With sixteen unique courses to choose from, players are rewarded for driving aggressively and dangerously; the more they drive on the wrong side of the road and get involved in near-misses, the better they do. Burnout is all about pure exhilaration, the rush of speeding through traffic at terrifying speeds, and the ultimate thrill of a high-speed crash.

What a small and basic Burnout game this is, compared to the later entries in the series. XD Still better than nothing I suppose! ^^' Good soundtracks it had.
