About The Game
Take control of fearsome warriors and do battle with thousands of foes in SAMURAI WARRIORS: Chronicles 3.
Explore alternative versions of Japanese history and interact with real-life generals who lived hundreds of years ago in the Sengoku era. You'll need both strategic smarts and strong sword skills to come out on top in battles where you're always outnumbered. Use the Touch Screen to switch between up to four playable characters in real time and issue commands to maintain a tight grasp over the entire field.
Ensure that your troops' morale stays high and try to weaken your enemies' resolve to push forward, and use an array of attacks to stop any soldier in your way. Now you can harness the power of super-strong Hyper Actions, or turn the tide with War Arts which can give you more experience points, boost your movement speed and more! As you meet certain conditions in combat, you'll also fill in illustrated grids of your Battle History.
Between battles, invite generals to join you at the tea table to further your alliances and enjoy unique conversations. Prepare for battle in style by customising your character to find a look that you like, and even outfit yourself in the costumes of famous historical figures. If you need an extra edge over your opponents, boost your abilities by fortifying your weapons. You can activate SpotPass and StreetPass to earn points to put towards weapon upgrades, too!
In Challenge Mode, tackle a series of objectives one after the other, all while fighting against the clock and thousands of enemies simultaneously! Reach your final goal and you can even upload your score to online leaderboards and see how you measure up against other warriors.
