Review Return to Popolocrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale (3DS)
A heartwarming harvest
As a crossover between Yohsuke Tamori's PopoloCrois (an enduringly popular fantasy manga from 1978) and the evergreen Bokujō Monogatari series (formerly known as Harvest Moon and now Story of Seasons in the West), Return to PopoloCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale stands out, even in the 3DS' impressively varied RPG garden...

PSA Get All The Harvest Moon Games Before The 3DS And Wii U eShops Close
They've bought the farm
If you're embedded within the farming game community, you'll know all about the Harvest Moon / Story of Seasons schism, in which (Western localisation team and publisher) Natsume and (developer) Marvelous went their separate ways. Natsume kept the Harvest Moon name in the West, and cranked out a bunch of wildly disappointing...

Responsible for...

"I want people to know that heartwarming RPGs like this still exist"
In a season already brimming with high-profile RPGs on the 3DS, Return to PopoloCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale stands out: a crossover between Yohsuke Tamori's PopoloCrois — an enduringly popular fantasy manga series that's served as the basis for several anime adaptations...

Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon! Return to PopoloCrois! DLC! A bit more!
With the start of a week comes the European Nintendo Download Update details. This time around Nintendo isn't aiming to overwhelm us with options (OK, that's a generous interpretation) but there are some tempting options nevertheless. We have two enticing retail releases on 3DS,...
News Story of Seasons Sequel is Coming Soon to 3DS in Japan
What a wonderful world
While the Harvest Moon franchise has had its ups and downs, Story of Seasons - which is a re-branded HM game, let's not forget - returned to the core style of the IP's beginnings. Add in some carefully thought out mechanics and a dose of realism and you have a 3DS title with some staunch fans; we rather liked it in our review,...

Translation, triple audio, and true romance
When we got our first hands-on time with Return to PopoloCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale at E3 earlier this year, we were very impressed; this quietly charming little JRPG ended up being a highlight of the 3DS' lineup at the show, and we were eager to see more. Thankfully, at a preview event in San Fra
First Impressions Heading Back to the Farm in Return to PopoloCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale
Of Cabbages and Kings
Nestled snugly between Senran Kagura's bountiful bosoms and the Cold Steel of the latest Legend of Heroes chapter, Return to PopoloCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale occupied a relatively unassuming spot at XSEED's E3 booth last month, but it certainly left quite an impression. This upcoming 3DS title is a crossover that...

I'm desperate to know how this game plays it looks like fantasy life, but I'm worried it plays like Rune Factory 4 (don't get me started).
@Jake_homs Exactly. Let's hope there is a review soon.
I rented it a few days ago and so far I like it ALOT..IMO it does kinda play like Fantasy Life(and like Jake_homs I have way too many hours clocked into it too) but it has the farming elements of Harvest Moon or Story of Seasons..I was excited when this game was announced and thought about pre-ordering it but decided to rent it first..I had pre-ordered HM:the lost valley and I'm sorry that I did,so I didn't want to make that mistake again if this game turned out to be a stinker..but I don't think it is...there are some people who might like Lost Valley but I didn't,and I think the same can be said for this game...it won't be everyone's cup of tea,but I'm glad I gave it a try
I too hope NL does a review of this game,it would be interesting to know what they thought of it
