Review Return to Popolocrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale
A heartwarming harvest
As a crossover between Yohsuke Tamori's PopoloCrois (an enduringly popular fantasy manga from 1978) and the evergreen Bokujō Monogatari series (formerly known as Harvest Moon and now Story of Seasons in the West), Return to PopoloCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale stands out, even in the 3DS' impressively varied RPG garden...
About The Game
In Return to PopoloCrois: A STORY OF SEASONS Fairytale, players take control of Prince Pietro, a young hero on a perilous and epic quest to return home.
Along the way he must meet a host of colourful characters, discover a world of strange creatures and ultimately save the land from a mysterious darkness that's threatening the very future of his entire kingdom. Face the darkness that plagues the land in intense tactical, turn-based combat, revitalise the fields and harvest the fruits of your hard labour!
Explore diverse environments – no mountain is too cold, no forest too large and no tower too imposing for brave young Pietro! Can you overcome all the challenges of this breathtaking world?
With dozens of quests to complete, items to collect and objects to craft, this is an experience that will keep you glued to the screen for a long, long time!
Please note: Return to PopoloCrois: A STORY OF SEASONS Fairytale is only available with English game text, with English and Japanese voiceovers. Listen to the original Japanese voices or enjoy a complete English dub!

No review on this yet? I've been excited for this game for awhile and was hoping to see what NL thought of it. Hope it arrives soon!
I'm desperate to know how this game plays it looks like fantasy life, but I'm worried it plays like Rune Factory 4 (don't get me started).
@Nin10doh I'm with ya. I loved Fantasy LIfe (have way too many hours clocked in it) but Rune Factory 4 never grabbed my fancy. I'm hoping to see what NL thinks about this game.
@Jake_homs Exactly. Let's hope there is a review soon.
I rented it a few days ago and so far I like it ALOT..IMO it does kinda play like Fantasy Life(and like Jake_homs I have way too many hours clocked into it too) but it has the farming elements of Harvest Moon or Story of Seasons..I was excited when this game was announced and thought about pre-ordering it but decided to rent it first..I had pre-ordered HM:the lost valley and I'm sorry that I did,so I didn't want to make that mistake again if this game turned out to be a stinker..but I don't think it is...there are some people who might like Lost Valley but I didn't,and I think the same can be said for this game...it won't be everyone's cup of tea,but I'm glad I gave it a try
I too hope NL does a review of this game,it would be interesting to know what they thought of it
