Review 7th Dragon III Code: VFD (3DS)
Very Fine Dragons
3DS owners have watched the pocket-sized portable become something of a treasure trove of JRPGs over the past few years; ATLUS in particular has showered the system with Etrian Odyssey and Shin Megami Tensei titles, Square-Enix introduced the Bravely series, and Nintendo's stepped back up to the plate in helping to publish...

Better tell Santa
Atlus and Sega's publishing partnership with Deep Silver was confirmed a while back and came as incredibly positive news for European fans, as it means they should be getting access to all of the lovely RPGs produced by those two firms. 3DS titles Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse and 7th Dragon III Code: VFD were both confirmed...

News New Atlus and SEGA Publishing Deal is Great News For European Gamers
Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse & 7th Dragon III Code: VFD on the way
It's a long running complaint for European and PAL gamers, particularly 3DS owners, that a range of excellent titles from Atlus (and sometimes SEGA) either take a long time to arrive in the region or never make the transition. This is due to Atlus in particular publishing...
News 7th Dragon III Code: VFD is Getting a Demo on the North American eShop
See what it's all about
For all of you North American JRPG fans looking for a good reason to dust off the ol' 3DS this summer, 7th Dragon III Code: VFD is only a couple weeks away from release. This next entry in the 7th Dragon series is the latest RPG to be put out by SEGA, and footage of the game is certainly promising. Naturally, not everyone is...
News 7th Dragon III Code: VFD Won't Be Coming to Europe for Now
What else is new?
Atlus is a popular studio for localising niche Japanese games in the west, though it's been somewhat spotty with bringing these games to all territories at once. It seems that North America is the one that usually gets favoured, with games making it over to Europe months later, if at all. The reason for this isn't always made...
News 7th Dragon III Code: VFD Arrives in North America on 12th July
Surprisingly, this one's not from Atlus
A couple months ago, SEGA announced 7th Dragon III Code: VFD for Nintendo 3DS in North America. While the game's premise is certainly a bit off the wall – you travel through time to fight dragons, or something like that – it looks like an interesting choice for any fans of the RPG genre. Previously, we...
Video SEGA Shows Off Three Neat Locations for Time Travel in 7th Dragon III Code: VFD
Time travelling and fighting dragons, that is
Some games have a concept that suggests they had a light-hearted pre-production meeting with the agenda of 'thinking of really cool things'. We suspect the pitch meeting for 7th Dragon III Code: VFD on 3DS was one of these, as it's all about time-travelling through fantastical locations to fight dragons,...

Just finished the game today... it's such an excellent one. 30 hour adventure (without postgame) with glorious Yuzo Koshiro music, excellent animations, and infinite ways to modify how you battle with the eight diverse classes... I cannot recommend this game enough! I place it in the realm of the ultimate 3DS J-RPGS! (EOIV - FEA - SMTIV - FEF - RF4)
