Didn't expect any DS VC games this early. There's just not enough I want that I don't have already. Except for The World Ends With You......

My video game arrangements (sheet music for piano)
Check in for new sheets every Monday. There's lots of Fire Emblem arrangements coming.

Never mind the fact that the game is free, the DS Virtual Console is a reality!

Awesome! I wonder if other territories will receive something similar.

Cringing is really fun.

I think with the low-hype level of the stuff we're talking about it's safe to assume they're just clearing the air a bit. You don't want an E3 show where they're spending most of their time talking about DS on the eShop, Gamecube controllers and firmware updates....

Some playlists: Top All Time Songs, Top Last Year
"Don't stir the pot" is a nice way of saying "they're too dumb to reason with"

I think this wasn't released one week before E3 by accident. It's probably to create additional buzz without actually revealing too much. There's probably many things in the 5.0.0 system update that we don't know about yet.

But Brain Training isn't up for long. June 4 to June 30. It's 55mb, too.

I've just thought.
If I can have Phantom Hourglass on the same console as Wind Waker, I will lose it.
Make it happen Ninty.

There, corrected that for ya.

Leave Phantom Hourglass alone. Leave it alone, I'm serious!
...OK, it has flaws, which I believe Spirit Tracks fixed. But Hourglass just had more charm.

The fact that that dungeon music was considered acceptable for Zelda still astounds me.

I think half the reason I didn't like it as much as other Zeldas is because of the lamer parts of the soundtrack alone.

Non-binary, demiguy, making LPs, still alive

Edit: but yeah, the soundtracks of both games are pretty below the Zelda standard.

I have to be honest, I don't remember the soundtracks. Maybe that's the point: the music is mediocre and forgettable.
The actual games are brilliant. I don't think there's a bad main series Zelda game. The only 2 I don't own - ALttP and Majora's Mask are pretty well regarded. Plus, I'm DLing LttP in next month and I'll buy Majora 3D.
Is there actually any other series like Zelda where every game is brilliant?

I like how this gen could potentially have every single Zelda game available across the two consoles. If we accept Majora's Mask 3D as an eventuality (cheap, easy to make and a guaranteed million-seller) we only have Four Swords Adventures left. If GameCube ever hits Virtual Console it has a reasonable chance of release. I for one am a very happy Zelda fan!

It would've been better if it had SOME button control (walking at least). My hand got tired constantly spinning the stylus (for rolling. I know you can just tap the stylus to walk, but who walks in post ALttP games? )
