I also find it hard to complain when a) both Wii retail and WiiWare games have really ramped up in quality lately and seem like they will remain steady for a while, so VC being on the back burner isn't really hurting our content flow
If Wii was my only console the decline of Virtual Console releases would definitely hurt my content flow. Personally I don't care about 99 % of WiiWare games. And I use my Wii only for retail games of Nintendo's big franchises since I have a Xbox360 (and a PS3 soon). So Virtual Console was the main reason to turn on my Wii regularly.
The only game I want right now is Earthbound. The biggest reason why I wanted a wii was so I could play games I missed out on, N64 being the number one system I wanted. I wish they supported VC more but because they don't I've actually gone out and bought every nintendo system (despite this I still can't find a copy of Earthbound). Sadly complaining doesn't seem to work, all of my club nintendo VC surveys include "I want Earthbound" or "I want star fox".
"(Also, more regular releases keep the whiners at least a little more quiet.)" **looks at thread title**
Doh.
Me, I think I ended up being the top point of irony. I just do not think that the Virtual Console should end just because ALL of the most popular games are out.
So I should complain to a wall about how there is a deficit of VC games released every Monday.
How can you complain about Castlevania? Is it too scary for you?
He can complain about it the way I can complain about Star Fox, Pikmin, Super Smash Bros. and F-Zero; because it's our rights as people to not necessarily like every game that everyone else does.
I am the one you despise. I am he who says what you really deep down know but are affraid to admit. I am the Anti-Fanboy, the crusader of truth in a world built on your lies.
They gave us and Europe Trans-Continental Garbage on the VC Monday and Friday. I have many complaints.
...no, they gave us a highly anticipated game.
I think Castlevania is complete trash and you think its the great. Can't people have different opinions about stuff?
You thinking it's trash and me thinking it's great (which, while true, I didn't actually mention, since it's not relevant in the slightest) does not change the fact that it was a highly anticipated game. Your complaint is simply "They suck for releasing something I personally don't want. The only thing they should care about is my opinion. Me me me", and I don't think anyone other than your local wall has much of an interest in hearing that.
I think Castlevania is complete trash and you think its the great. Can't people have different opinions about stuff?
Yes people can have different opinions about stuff. However your opinion is wrong, in no way is Castlevania trash, as far as design goes it's exceptional.
Thinking Castlevania is boring is a perfectly fine opinion.
Nothing wrong with not liking Castlevania, but like Adamant pointed out, you saying that we got trash on Monday is purely opinion, not fact. Apparently people did want that game, as it shot up to the top 20 by Tuesday. I haven't checked lately to see how high up it is now, but it is a AAA, highly desired game even if you personally don't like it. If you don't mind me asking, what is it you want to see on the VC that would change your opinion of it? Are you just concerned about the quantity of games we are getting? Because we have been getting some good quality games as of late.
