I hope thats true.That would rock!! Loved the parts in ocarina where the owl scooped you up and flew you around,especially down death mountain.Who wouldn't wanna fly around Hyrule?

I'd like to see Link fly (asides with the assistance of the flying Epona bug in Twilight Princess). How they'd stop him from being able to simply traverse all of Hyrule at will in the air is beyond me, though.

But why do you have to restrict him!? They should make this one a lot more organic in nature and the flying ability would fit this mould well. I wish they would let us explore Hyrule in any order,why not? The game could be designed in such a way so as the game could be completed in many different ways and I don't think that this need affect the traditional Zelda gameplay of 'find this to get there' type thing. I believe the first zelda was like this ( I wouldn't know ,I got bored after 5 mins, a bit too retro for my tastes) so there is no reason that they couldn't go back to that but bring it in to the next gen. Seriously if this one is just another OOT copy that TP was then my love for the Zelda series may be on the wain.

No, I highly doubt he'd do that in the Wii one. Now, flying in an airplane in the next DS game is a different story; I can see that happening.

They should make a special suit like the Zora Armor form TP.
Maybe they'll bring back the bird dudes from WW and they give a special suit that lets you fly!

Probably not. I highly doubt that the creators of Zelda would try to implement something that's hard to restrict when it comes to bugs/glitches. However, if Link did get the ability to fly, the game would have to be changed to...

...which would get canceled, crushing every Kid Icarus fan's immortal soul.

Why not? Anything to switch it up. I mean, why can't Link be a Rito or something? Is there a rule saying he always has to be a Hylian?

Or like I said they could bring the Ritos back and they give him some kind of Rito armor or something that lets him fly.

Read the link before looking like an idiot. This came from the director of the Zelda series himself, if he says it, there is a good chance that it will happen.
