Yes, I have both versions. I bought it off WiiWare about two weeks before it had a surprise release on Steam... I never returned to the WiiWare version. The PC version has the WiiWare levels plus bonus levels. It also comes with achievements and the ability to "rewind" your actions (like in Braid).

If you don't like the PC controls or something, the thing is controller enabled. I'm not sure what controllers that includes, but I know you can use the 360 controller.

Thanks for the info. I'll probably just get it on steam then!

I'm sure I'm gonna buy Tomena Saner, but I'll have 800 points left. What should I get? (I have Wario Ware DIY on the DS but not on the Wii)

It depends on whether or not you or anyone in your household would like to play your microgame creations on the Wii. If yes, then go with DIY. If not, Tomena Sanner is good for pick-up-and-play fun, but if you're anything like me it'll be the game you turn to for a few minutes here and there after another game just kicked your butt. It is fun, though, and some people on this forum are at the top of the leaderboards!

If you find yourself spiritually drifting (as I was for far too many years), remember that Jesus can and will walk across the water to reach you and bring you back to shore.

Never bought a wiiware game. Where should I start? I was thinking maybe cave story or world of goo.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, would you kindly?

KnucklesSonic8

Oh wow. That's a bit of a toughie. What kinds of games are you into?

@knucklesSonic8

Action, strategy, puzzle, racing, and pretty much everything except point and click.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, would you kindly?

Strategy: I highly recommend Swords & Soldiers and FFCC: My Life as a Darklord. Can't go wrong with those two games.
Puzzle: Magnetis, Toki Tori, Art of Balance are all some of the many great puzzlers on the service.
Point and click: Look into the Strong Bad games, especially if you like humor.
Racing: Driift Mania is great especially with a group of friends for a social experience. It's an arcade top-down racer. Worth looking into.

Hope this helps a bit. If you'd like more thoughts on any of these or other titles you're interested in (I've played a lot of WW games), let me know!

Does online matter to you? I highly recommend Water Warfare as well.

Aight so Ill get my Black Wii in Tuesday and I really havent too much kept up with all the WiiWare Releases in awhile, so what do you guys recommend as your favorite on the service. Im really interested in the Rebirth Series and I will buy Cave Story because the FreeWare Version is bugged to hell and back. Ive owned and beaten most all the good ones that released the first two years so no recs on Lost Winds, World of Goo etc. Ive beaten them all.

There's lots. Look at the ones I mentioned in the post above yours. That's a good start.

How is Dr. Mario? Me and my bro are looking for a multiplayer game. I would get tetris party but I don`t have enough points. If it
isn`t great, then I`m buying mario 64.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, would you kindly?

KnucklesSonic8

It's pretty good. But if you're looking for a multiplayer game, I'd suggest something better than that. What exactly are you looking for in a multiplayer experience?

Puzzler. NL gave Dr. Mario a pretty good review so I might go with that.

Okay, go for it. Art of Balance is good too.

It's probably been said a million times over, but NyxQuest is probably the best thing I have ever played on the WiiWare service. Just beat the game this week, and while it's short and won't run you much longer than 3 hours...it's the best 3 hours of gaming you will have. Everything from the gameplay mechanics to the music is spectacular, it's a game that really should be on everybody's Wii Menu.

I want to have the perfect WiiWare collection by owning all the great games that are currently available. Which games are missing from my current collection? (I'm from the PAL region)

Oh, and don't recommend the other Tales of Monkey Island games, please. I'm planning on buying those eventually.

@Yasume I'd add Overturn, it's a good mech-fighter with online support. I think it got an 8/10 here on NL
