She's not home from work yet. She's excited about playing it as she loves the original Wii Sports game. I'm anxious to see how she likes it. It came via Fed-Ex about the time she was getting ready to go to work.
Well, it sounds like the two of you are going to have a lot of fun playing Wii Sports Resort together! Let us know what she thinks of it! I think it will be interesting to hear how the two of you enjoyed the game!
Well I can say this, there's nothing quite like pummeling someone with a plastic sword until they fall off a 50ft high platform into the water below. And to be shown a replay of it is just icing on the cake, as far as I'm concerned!
at the beginning i had thought that Basket, Ping Pong and Waverace deserved the purchase; now that i see more videos of the others discipline i'm starting to think that is a really complete game. Maybe just the volley is missing.
Supa excited for Table Tennis and Golf. Good to see Archery is so good. Your frisbee rank surprised me. Is Disc Golf any fun? Also, is canoing fun multiplayer?
Table tennis is addictive. Swordplay is great fun too. I have a real recurve bow, but the archery is still fun. Most are pretty good, cycling is perhaps the weakest of the bunch though. This game makes me want a new Pilotwings and/or the old versions on the VC. I'd rank the game higher than IGN AU did, that's for sure. Plus, I picked my copy up at BIG W for $78 AUS.
Just been out and picked this up from tesco. At the moment if you buy resort you get a second motion plus for half price (£8) BARGAIN!! Got a nunchuck for my girlfreind too, Can't wait to play it but got to do family stuff first!! I'm gonna be up all night with this one
These games are great!! It reminds me of when we first got the Wii and everything was exciting and new. I've not even played every game yet because I'm spending so much time enjoying the ones that I have tried. I've been playing for hours, and needless to say, my arm is killing me! I really like the air sports games. Flying the dog fights is so darn cool. We've been playing that one game for over an hour, exploring the island. It's quite addictive. The other game I'm pretty good at is the frisbee toss with the dog catching it. I used to play with my dog a lot (RIP Monty-dog) so I think that one pretty fun. And with it you can definitely see how the motion plus works. I tried bowling to see how it compared to WiiSports. The motion plus makes a difference here, too. I sucked at it compared to WiiSports where I play pretty well. I tend to curve the ball, so I'm going to have to re-learn how to throw. Anyway ... we're really happy with it. It's one of those games that makes me happy that we own a Wii.

Couple of hours n the evenings fun shall commence, yay! I'll be back here later to do the whole excited nintendoid thing, pouring love all over Resort.
@Victoria: I'm gonna loose hours flying around that island, is there stuff to collect?

There are 120 site seeing points to "collect". You have to fly through them and some are very, very tricky to find. It's a lot of fun and yeah, you will spend hours in that mode.
I got my copy today, and the game is awesome. Most fun in a while. Especially the archery and the new Golf courses, Frisbee Golf, the Island Flyover and swordplay. Lots of fun.
