I'm expecting a 9. That's about what I expect. But I haven't even played it yet. And all of my Wii games are on the shelf above the pic. Those near the Wii are just the current crop I'm playing. LOL

Well...now that Corbie has gone to play the game now...Im gonna strongly disagree with his views (still love you, bro, dont worry) that the game will be a 9 XD I think a 6 or 7, to me and from watching previews, i dont think they hit the mark with their sports collection this time. They took out boxing and put in...fencing (WHY THE HECK!!!!???) They brought in flying and didnt make a multiplayer dogfighter out of it. They have jetski, but (from my knowledge), no multiplayer wave race idea . They brought basketball...and man lets not talk about that xD. I just really think they missed the mark with the game, sorry for my harshness. However, i may pick this up along with tiger woods to get 2 cheaper motion plus' (for my bro and me) and one good game with it (tiger 10, unless wii sports resort actually doesn't disappoint despite having no boxing and missing a bunch of opportunities.) Im not hating on wii sports resort though, if i have to, ill buy it over tiger since it has more sports...including the golf that tiger has.

Boxing was decent in the original, but I don't understand complaining about its absence. You should already have the game, and the controls aren't bad. Motion+ support is unnecessary. If they just included all the original disc on it, no one would want it. It has to be new.
I am surprised by the lack of multi-player for jetskis, though. I didn't know about this. Oh well. It'd have been nice, but I won't lose sleep.
What size is that tv, i can only find a 19 inch one and if thats 19 inches is it big enough? I have a 27 inch full screen and dont know if 19 inch will look to small. Thanks!!
It's 40" and I don't think they make the white one that big anymore. I had to end up ordering this one off of Amazon due to not being able to find a big enough white one in stock anywhere around here.

Newsflash on your newsflash: Neither is flying around blindly doing barrel rolls , shooting lasers, and nosediving. now that i think about it, those things strongly resemble things id see in a dogfighter...but maybe dogfighting has changed
Golf and bowling were also in the original. Boxing actual wasn't responsive for the most part regarding uppercuts and hooks, 70% of the time punches reverted to being jabs. They should have kept boxing to fix these things.

Flying is sporty. It fits well enough with the Resort image. Dogfighting is violent and doesn't fit. I had no idea about lasers though (and still don't). What on earth are the lasers for? Boxing and Fencing feel safe because they're sports. Dogfighting has connotations of war and could risk getting a rating other than E. Even if not, it would just be out of place in the context.
Most people are more interested in fencing than boxing, anyway. It better represents what the Motion+ can do... in theory, anyway. I've read that what they did with fencing actually ended up being just as mediocre as boxing was. They can't bring back all the original sports. It'd make the game look like a remake.
