I just got my Wii repaired because of a broken disk drive, but now the Wii remotes aren't working! Every time I play a game, the remote works at first, but then it stops responding entirely. The "player 1" light still remains on, but the buttons and the motion controls won't work. A message usually pops up saying "communications with the Wii remote have been interrupted".
So far, I've tried changing the batteries in each remote, resynchronizing the remotes, and removing wireless devices from the area, and it still won't work! Help!
Did you try synchronising your Wii remotes using the red button? I think it's a more stable way of doing it than reconnecting on the home screen every time. It may or may not work though.
If you don't know how to do it, see the second box on this page for how to sync using the red button.
One of my Wii remote's rumble seems alittle funked up...When I'm on the Wii Menu and my Curser is hovering over VC games it makes a slightly louder staticy sound compared to my other Wii Remotes. What's the deal?
One time my Wii remote sensores were completely out of whack. However, with a little detective sleuthing, I discovered that our Christmas lights were interfering with the sensor! So yeah, I've seen weirder problems occur. Good thing yours was easy to solve too!
I'm working on a game that's coming out soon! Cipher Trailer
