Topic: Wii Price Drop in Australia and New Zealand!

In an announcement today, Nintendo have dropped the price of the Wii console! Previously priced at $AU399.95, ($NZ499.95) it is now selling as of tomorrow for $AU299.95! ($NZ399.95) Also on sale in Australia tomorrow is Monster Hunter Tri. It can be bought as a standalone game or bundled with a black classic controller pro (not sold separately.)

I guess this explains why I saw the Wii advertised for $300 in a store a few weeks ago...

Yes it's interesting how the Wii and DSi XL are now the same price. Nintendo Australia seem to have a lot of love towards price drops recently.

That's a hefty price drop. Win! (well, not really, because it's still way more expensive than anywhere else, but still better than nothing)

Well, thats the price of Monster Hunter Tri (the drop) so its quite good for new buyers.
