Lazy, condescending developers trying to convince a general public that a shoddy framerate is not their fault, but the platform's when we have dozens of examples to the contrary. That's a "telltale" sign right there that they can keep their crappy game.

There will always be framerate issues. A dev has to take into account a console's strenths and weaknesses. I'm not one to bash Telltale as I really respect them. The type of game they made just didn't play to Wii's strengths as it was primarily a PC game. Some devs are better at getting a lot out of a little (wayforward). Those that can work within limitations and restrictions shine brightest as they know gaming inside and out.

Mario Kart's framerate is so awful single-player. Madworld def looked like crap the entire time I played it. Mario Galaxy was basically a pared down iPhone game. Plus, the iPhone can EASILY approximate all forms of Wii motion control and button-use.

Anyone that buys an iPhone instead of a Wii for playing games should be beaten with a candy cane, solely to feel even more embarassed at how the bruises appeared when people ask.

And sorry Telltale, not feeling your genre or game plan. Overpriced Strong Bad chapters....overpriced Monkey business....I'll stick to my overpriced FF4 chapters, thank you very much. Plus, people that make excuses, like people who speak in metaphors, ought to shampoo my crotch.

God bless Jack Nicholson.

True.. if you play the PAL version at 576i instead of 480i or 480p. It truly suck, totally unplayable. Anything else but 576i and MKW runs very nice, actually... can´t remember seeing framedrops in mkw.
There is also games that plays smoother using 576i, namely Lego Star Wars and Jungle speed. In Jungle speed it doesn´t matter

I thought... known hardware, no problems for developers creating nice flowing games. Was I wrong

No, but there is another side of the coin. Many games simply will not be available just because of the hardware limitations, and the one that will miss them is just the gamer, that is, us.

In short time PS3 and XboX will have controls equivalent to the Wii ones, in fact both systems will go far ahead than WM+ and release dates are 2010 or late 2009). Then, aside of specific Nintendo games, I bet that all the games that rely on that kind of controls will be created for these two systems first and then, if the game requirements allow, ported onto Wii.
