Horizontal, I think Vertical might be too dangerous. My poor Wii can slip and break it's neck.

Wii U future of gaming.

Horizontal. Mainly because I'm missing the covers for the GameCube ports. If I put it vertically, dust will get stuck in the unused GC ports.

If I know dust, which I do, it gets everywhere no matter where it is or how it's positioned. I've had mine both horizontal and vertical, but horizontal works perfectly for sliding into small spaces, so horizontal for me. :3

It changes. I think Vertical is better for the Wii if it is on the stand. That's the way it's supposed to be and looks better. If I have no space to put it Vertical, then it goes horizontal.

Not only does the 3DS come with an SD card, but it also happens to come pre-installed with one, additional dimension.

I've got it oriented vertically on the TV cabinet. With the stand it's not going to be knocked over easily (and I don't understand why people think it might, unless it's close enough to the ground to be kicked or there's kids running around).

I used to have a blog link here. I'll put it back up when the blog has something to read.

I keep mine vertical, I've had it that way since launch day and haven't had any problems. ^.^ It looks so modern and elegant when placed vertically.

At home: Vertically, but if I take it on vacation, then I'll leave the stand and flaps at home (to save space/reduce the risk of breaking the flaps) and set it up horizontally.

Vertical. So it stands proud and tall....

You could bump it with your arm or yank too hard on a wired GameCube controller.

Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

Mine was vertical until I lost the plastic thing from under the stand... Now it's horizontal.

I lay all my systems flat but thats mainly caused when I was over at my friends house and he had his PS2 standing up on its side when his dog ran into the room got tangled up in the controller cords and pulled it over breaking it. After that I always lay my systems flat.
