Topic: wii Game cube games questions

when playing gmae cube games on the wii, is there a way to save without a memory card? If not, what kind of memory card do you use? Is it a gamecube card or a wii card?

No. You need a Gamecube memory card.

You need a GC card. You insert it in the slots on top of your Wii.

You can get them very cheaply from Ebay, my unofficial has actually been very reliable thus far.

The first card I had was grey. I eventually bought a used black one.

Well, for those of you who are familiar with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 on the gamecube, I have the same problem playing it on the wii. Not strategy problems, but technical problems. On both systems, when I attempt a certain challenge at the carnival level, The game freezes and I hear a loud buzzing noise. There's no way I can even attempt to try the challenge, which I never have before. There are NO scratches or smears on the bottom of the disc. I guess it may be defective, but then again I've had the game since it was released and have NEVER had a problem with it.

That's a completely weird statement to make in this thread...but I had the same problem.

I know it might've been a weird statement for this forum topic, but it was the best topic that I could find to post this problem. Anyway, thank you for stating that you had the same problem with the game.
