As the big N have plumped for the industry brand name Wi-Fi to brand their on-line products, I was wondering if this is such a great idea. WI-Fi stands for 'Wireless Fidelity' - I mean how many of jo public associate that blue Wi-Fi logo with having fun with playing games on-line. Having been with Nintendo for a while I would of thought they would have come up with some cool branding of their own like say Wii-World-Wide or Wii.Wide.Web What do you think? I like the xbox live tag and Play Station Network - I just think Wi-Fi is a boring industry acronym.
Thats true Toddr - but do people know what the Wi-Fi bit means. I know we all do, but what about the wider market that Nintendo are trying hard to get their Wii's online.
