Topic: Why No FPS on Wii?

Metroid Prime Trilogy is the best out of them, though some consider it a FPA. Fanboys get mad if FPS isn't HD, that is why though. And devs have learned that "hardcore" games don't sell very well on the Wii.

Um...no. That's not why some people don't like to call it a FPS at. It has nothing with being HD, and everything to do with the gameplay.

I wasn't talking about why people consider it a FPA, I was answering his/her question, "Why no FPS on Wii?"

Haven't FPS games historically been high end PC based for the most part, so maybe a lot of developers of the genre are of that mindset, of aiming for technical perfection in getting the most from the hardware, still the wiimote is ideal for FPS IMO, but it looks like its up to newer developers for the most part to bring such games to the wii, the big players are probably more interested high specs than interesting control schemes.
