I was on the fence about it, but after seeing the new trailer for Duke Nukem Forever, which I preordered, I can safely say I probably won't be buying this game, I might rent it way after I get DNF, but it's unlikely. It just looks too generic. The mulitplayer sounds fun though.
LOL that game looks pretty bad.
How? I understand it's become trendy to hate on DNF, but the game looks pretty darn good to me. I'm not going to lie, I didn't wait 14 years for DNF, so I won't have unrealistic expectations, but it looks far from "bad".
As for Conduit 2. I thought about it and I'll probably just rent it for the multiplayer, I'll probably try the single player and check it out to see if it's good or not. If it's good, I'll buy it.
Yeah, Duke Nukem Forever does look good. I'm not interested in Bioshock Infinite, though. It kinda loses the atmosphere the first two had, but I'll probably end up grabbing it a ways down the road anyways.
if the splitscreen is as extensive as i've heard, with local multiplayer for the full campaign and online play, i'll probably buy it just for the fun of playing it with a friend. otherwise i've got no interest in the single player, and the online looks good but not quite good enough to justify buying since it doesn't do much goldeneye doesn't do.

This^ I also saw how it got delayed to march 22 That makes me sad. Same month as 3DS means unlikely i will get it. Feb was a higher chance but I don't know now...

God loves you
I'm interested in this one. I think I'll probably wait for a few reviews though.
I enjoyed the first. It wasn't fantastic, but it was decent (at least until the online became a hacker's paradise). The controls were what sold me on it though. It takes some getting used to, but after adjusting to the Wii's pointer controls, I can't stand dual analog. I am hoping that the sequel will build on the originals good points while eliminating some of its problems. It will be interesting to see how it stacks up with Goldeneye and Black Ops.
This is slowly moving up my list. I think I want the special edition it's the same price and you get a cool little art book. Wish we were getting the collectible figure too.
Send me the best you've got. Send me your strongest machines. The fight my brother fought, here, now, will end with me.
If they've hauled their over this game and it made it 100% better than The Conduit, I might just buy it. I just don't want to see the same thing happen top Conduit 2 like what happened to The Conduit. All I want to know is when will they be checking the game for bugs/glitches etc.? Every week, every month or what?
If you're referring to the promised updates, I believe that's meant to stop hackers, not fix bugs, although it may be possible to use it that way too if the bug is in the online multiplayer.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

I'm pretty sure it's both, hacks, bugs, and glitches/glitchers.
I'm very excited with some of the news coming down the pipeline about multiplayer as the first game was in fact broken online.
I'm quite excited to see:
Remotely patchable for continually enhanced online play
Lag time time present in between matches due to the complicated menu system will be pared down to the bare essentials, wait times of 30 seconds to 1 minute in between matches.
NEW “rival mode” , whereby you can add players who don’t have your friends code to a list as “rivals” that you can play over and over again....a “Nintendo-friendly way to bypass the friends code limitations”.
Conduit 2 will ship with a headset. Communication will be able to stream actively in the gameplay lobby before matches, during the matches themselves, and in between set up for matches that follow.
Modern Warfare-like perk system made up of suit upgrades
Inclusion of vehicles in some of the larger levels.

I think you have just sold me on this one. I hope your right about the vehicles. Just out of curiosity, where did you hear about the vehicles and the bundled headset?

This blistered thumbs.com article from June that I just stumbled across is where I just read all that.
