I still have it, though I rarely play it. A weird thing happened earlier today. I turned on my Wii and it said the disc could not be read, but after I restarted the system, the game worked fine.

I traded it to someone some time ago. I held onto it for awhile hoping the online quality would improve but that certainly never happened.
There is so much more to do than just the online portion. Did you complete every single challenge? Beat the Subspace Emissary mode on all difficulty levels? Beat All-Star and Boss Battle modes with all characters? Do the Home Run Contest with all characters? Do all the solo and co-op events? Unlock all the music, assist trophies, trophies, stickers, etc.?
If you did all this, then you truly completed the game.

No, but I usually don't 100% my games. I played through a majority of the single player content which was good enough for me.

I'm 8 achievements away from 100%. Defeat 5 enemies in Cruel Brawl and beat Boss Battles on Intense are the only ones worrying me...

You couldn't be more wrong....I've been playing fighting games since Street Fighter II hit the arcades, i've been through countless sequals of that, Mortal Kombat, Fatal Fury, Samurai Showdown, Virtua Fighter when 'that' hit the scene, Soul Calibur, DOA(to some extent)and Tekken(the worst of them all imo) including more obscure franchises or titles like Battle Arena Toshinden, Guilty Gear and Tobal Number 1 ect ect.
Yet nowadays I can't be bothered to play most of these anymore. The fighting fan in me has somewhat descreased. I cannot stand Tekken to no end nowadays, same deal with Virtua Fighter and I'm not crazy over DOA either. I'm either SSBros or Street Fighter, while throwing in sprinklets(love that word, is that even a real word?lol) of Soul Calibur or maybe Mortal Kombat inbetween.
Anyways Brawl is incredibly deep...NO, it's not one of those 100 chain combo fiesto's aka Virtua Fighter...thank god. The moves are simple to perform(the same can be said for Street fighter for example, well almost) but it's how you use these moves. Brawl is an acrobatic fighter, it does so much more and beyond than the typical fighter that it's not even fair to compare because it is it's own Breed of fighter and it's truly special and brilliant. It's about the deflecting, dodging, blocking, air dodging, using items, weapons ect ect....There's just so much to it.
Any noob, will flat out lose to somebody who's solid at brawl. You can't button mash through this game.....Anyways, there's nothing else like it. Things DO however begin to get alittle Partyish once you throw in those Smash Balls and assist trophies. The smash balls can be totaly cheap and unfair....You could be slaying you opponent, when all of the sudden...Captain Olimar for ex, gets the smash ball and kills you in one singleblow with his unavoidable space ship.lol
Anyways, Brawl and Melee are my favorite fighters period. Not even street fighter comes close for me anymore. Oh and LordJumpmad continue to hate as always. Lay off the witches brew it's making you cranky. lol
And Jump wins again.
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
After letting my little cousin enjoy the wonders of Smash by letting him borrow for a few months, I got it back last night and smashed the heck out of it.

For the record, me and LordJumpMad play Brawl together almost every weekend. lol

For beating Boss Battles on intense, just be Charizard and spam the Rock Smash. It takes quite a chunk out of the bosses health bars if you get close enough.
But anyway, I don't play it much anymore because of the mediocre online play. Plus I can hardly stay connected as I keep getting the same error code which boots me off. If I do play it I'm usually playing the SubSpace Emissary just because I love that mode so much.

I prefer Brawl's air dodging. I don't like falling helplessly after air dodging in Melee. Since Brawl is much more of an aerial game, being able to air dodge multiple times or air dodge then attack/recover is more useful than a small boost to your jump height or whatever else it's used for (wave dashing? I never did bother to learn that).

One of the only things I don't like about Brawl are the majority of its "hardcore" fans. It's good and fun to enjoy the game on a more competitive level, but I don't see why you have to diss people who use a basic included feature of the game and have fun with it.
