But Sonic Generations and Sonic Colors are good steps in the right direction. Sega has pretty much forgotten about those crappy games, and it's all smooth sailing going forward.
Might want to fix your triple post.
Sonic generations, yes. Colors, no. It was fun but after a while the wisps power ups felt unnecessary. The music was life sustaining though. Generations is easily his best 3D game, but even it felt rushed. About 13 actual levels and forcing players to complete challenges to progress. The last boss fight was way less enjoyable than it could have been too.
I am (through I've always been with Nintendo). Sonic Adventure 2 Battle was what really grabbed my attention. Then I went back and played all the old ones. ....which is why I think it is stupid that there is not a Wii or 3DS version of Sonic the hedgehog 4 episode 2....not happy about that one.
online games include: Mario Kart 8, Mario Kart 7, Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS, Super Mario Maker and Splatoon.
Try out my Super Mario Maker stages at well! Here's one to start : F98B-0000-0022-0753

Sonic Generations and Sonic Colors make all those games irrelevant. Generations and Colors are 2 of the best Sonic games in years. They're what Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 should have been.
Seriously, go play Sonic Adventure. It doesn't hold up at all, full of glitches, terrible camera, horrible voice acting, presentation, controls, etc. The only good thing about Sonic Adventure was the music. Sonic Adventure 2 fixed most of those problems, but the extra playable characters felt tacked on.
Just played SA1 on XBLA a month ago and it still holds up pretty well.
Colors and Generations were great games. The music in sonic is worth playing through crappy games.
WAT!
Hey check out my awesome new youtube channel shingi70 where I update weekly on the latest gaming and comic news form a level headed perspective.
I think Sonic is pretty fun, and I have yet to play the stinkers, but I'm personally not a fan. Love the cartoons though, especially SatAm and that Ren and Stimpy styled one.
I'm so pissed that Sega completely forgot about the Wii version of Sonic 4. So now we're left with an incomplete game. Sega might as well just pull Episode 1 from the Wii Shop, since it's completely worthless now.
Oh well, at least I can get both Episode 1 and Episode 2 for my PS3!
