Seriously, Nintendo. It's been 2 years and we have a grand total of 16 N64 games. Sure, there are some GREAT Nes, Snes, Genesis, and N64 titles already available, but this is truly sad.
I understand that some titles such as Goldeneye are tough to release because of legal issues, but this is NOT the problem with a large portion of N64 games.
Honestly, what will it take for Nintendo to finally start to release more 64 games?
Are there really all that many good N64 games left to come out? I know there's a few, but I've already downloaded from VC most of my favorite N64 games. Let me know where I'm wrong.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
Hey guys,if you want to help instaead of complaining, you can do this. Send an email to Hudson Soft asking them that you would like to see ALL Bomberman N64 games on the Virtual Console. Let's change the future and not complain about the present!
That isn't going to help,Nintendo will release SSB,but at their own timing. All we will do is beat a dead horse. Calling Hudson Soft about releasing the Bomberman N64 games on the VC might change things though. WARNING:Captain Jack Sparrow [aka Party On Dude] might be visiting this topic soon...
So hold on...why is it that we have Rare games such as Donkey Kong Country on Virtual Console, but we can't get anything from N64 (Goldeneye, Turok, Conker, etc)? Rare developed SO many great games for N64...
@Mattdyer0 Very easy. Donkey Kong is a Nintendo character. Nintendo owns the rights to their character. Rare could use it because Nintendo allowed them to. The other Rare games does not include Nintendo characters. Rare's property. That simple.
Mattdyer0, not to be a total jerk here, but there are probably millions of threads on here with the exact same topic, please do a little research to see if the topic hasn't been brought up many times before.

RARE originally developed the game titles but Nintendo owns the IP of DK...Conker is owned by RARE who is owned by MS...That's why you don't see him in DiddyKong Racing on the DS...Pissed me off!!
Remember when Nintendo magazine used to list all the N64 games apposed to the top 50 lists they did for Gamecube and do for the Wii. Am struggeling to remember what great nintendo made (or others elligble to be launched on virtual console)
I only downloaded Paper Mario and Smash Bros cause i don't own them on N64, but i don't remember what's left for nintendo to bring out that's worth it?
Console = 0578-2370-9781-9698 Mario Kart Wii = 1118-0551-7902 Super Smash Bros Brawl = 3695-1476-6816 Guitar Hero World Tour = 1590-8774-4731 Animal Crossing Lets Go to the City = 0087-6081-3734
They'll need to bring back mutiple game-week! That's the reason why it's taking us so long to get any Nintendo 64 games!
No. For whatever reason no third party publisher has their games on the N64. All the N64 games on the VC have been published by Nintendo and were originally published by Nintendo too (even if someone else developed it for them). It is that third party restriction that prevents us from seeing N64 games.
As for what those reasons could be, perhaps one or more of the following:
Nintendo has decided no third party N64 games.
Third parties have no interest in releasing their N64 games on VC
The lack of memory pak compatability prevents many games being released (the majority of third party N64 games relied on the memory pak to save the game whereas it was only used for things like ghosts in Nintendo's own games)
Of course, this is only guesswork.

Just so you know, Turok wasn't developed by Rare. It was developed by Igauna Entertainment and published by Acclaim.
what is SSB? All I can think of when I see that abbreviation is Super Smash Bros., and I thought for certain I saw that's been on VC for a while now. Of course I could be wrong. I own the game so I never tried to download it.
The only thing I'm going to say is, (are you finally happy I did; even after I didn't want to & ignore this stupid thread): You people complain & whine a lot! Try to learn to have extreme ammount of patience or else!!!
I was just happy Majora's Mask was released! I don't care how long SSB64 takes to come to NA... but yes I've been fummed its been taking a long time! Couldn't care less either about Super Mario Kart!
And so what if those get released sometime soon; you will be complaining about other games anyways... like you always do! Insterts N64 & SNES game: Mario Party, Dk64, Yoshi's Island... etc!
Stupid forums like these are a way of life; which none of you people clearly have any... I doubt it! But there are more highly more smart people on here more than me btw; so I'm not naming names to those I hate on here!
WARNING, LOL: this is going to be my only post; for I don't give a rats replying to anyone's replies about my post! I'm ignoring you, LOL!

Sixteen games in near three years of the most powerful console on the Virtual Console (if not the best or favorite) is reason enough to complain -- especially when other consoles have around 70 (Genesis) and 80 (NES) games for them. Now personally, I like to think I understand why the N64 has so few games but even so sixteen/seventeen games is barely nothing.
