I now own 11 N64 games of those released on the Virtual Console. There are only really about two left of the current ones that I want to get at some point but I'm in no rush to get them just yet.
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
So hold on...why is it that we have Rare games such as Donkey Kong Country on Virtual Console, but we can't get anything from N64 (Goldeneye, Turok, Conker, etc)? Rare developed SO many great games for N64...
because ninty owns the dk character and not any of the other ones!

"Where the heck are all the N64 games?" Corbie and his wives took them away. In all seriousness, though, most of the best ones were made by Rare, and with the exception of Donkey Kong, there is pretty much no chance of them coming out, unless Microsoft and Nintendo team up and they share the money. Pretty much all of the 3rd parties that made N64 games, an example being Rockstar with Space Station Silicon, probably think they would lose money instead of making it, which makes a lot of sense.
Best thread ever

Jeez, I've been wondering the same thing. Too bad Rare has some of the good ones (Banjo-Kazooie, Goldeneye 007, Conker's Bad Fur Day etc.) under their belt now...
