Topic: When is worms: Battle islands coming out?

Good point, they've been saying this game is coming out for MORE THAN A YEAR NOW.

That's an amazingly sour track record. But I am still waiting for the game, and want to play Worms on WiiWare, so they haven't yet lost me as a customer with this silly length of delay.

maybe this week? Maybe?

I have checked for the Release Date of this game more times than any other game in my years of gaming.

Guess that means they've got me hooked, if not strung along. Hopefully it will come out soon and the wait will be worth it.

They're making a WiiWare Worms game?

Well, the steam Worms game came out last week, so expect it soon.

I barely found out about the one on steam coming out yesterday. Playing the demo. I rather play it on the Wii though.

Labor day would be nice, but I'm enjoying reloaded. Still want Battle Islands, Islands and make your own weapons, on and the EMP grenade.

I know it's nothing big, but I just noticed the game was re-rated on ESRB. Better than having no news at all, right?

I'm sure some will have the same sentiments as me when I say that this is bittersweet. While I was pleased to hear that the release date was finalized, it's now no longer WiiWare-bound, which has disappointed me greatly.

True, but Boy And His Blob underwent the same transition, right? I think it's retail tag was like $20. Really, what's the downside if the cost is the same? It doesn't even take up blocks!

word. I just figured it was around there because I walked into a Best Buy the other day and it was $15 new.

Drat! That just clouds up my Christmas list more. Between my birthday in August and December, I can't get any disc games on my own because of Christmas presents. My dad only gets me 2 full-price video games each Christmas, and the top of my list already belongs to "NBA Jam" and "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2." I can still get downloadable games during these months, so I'm really disappointed that I can no longer get this game until probably next spring.
