Topic: What's a good, easy, multiplayer WiiWare game for casual players?

I want to get something to play with my gf, so it needs to have simple controls and cute graphics. Is there anything like this that doesn't suck? Co-operative gameplay would be ideal

Bomber man would be a good choice, the difficulty is optional and it offers a fun challenge for you if you will play the game alone

Yeah I have Mario Kart, she quite likes it but she doesn't win often enough. I think I might go for Arkanoid Plus because she plays an Arkanoid-style game on her phone

Tetris Party, I think is ideal if you don't already have it. It's great if you're good, and even if you're not, but she'll get hooked and then get really good and kick your at it. I play it with my girlfriend all the time and we're evenly matched so it never gets old, but she can also go online and play forever when she wants a bigger challenge.
I've also heard that Art style: rotohex is good that way, but I haven't tried it yet. My girlfriend also likes Orbient, but it's only one player, very cool though.
Theres always Boom Blox if you go to retail, too. Thats really fun multiplayer once you both get into it and understand how it works.

Super C is a truly great multiplayer game for VC, you and a friend will enjoy it. Not exactly casual, and not exactly wiiware, but it's fun all the same.

I was going to suggest Neves Plus but I don't think it has been released in that region yet.

Do you have Groovin' Blocks? It's not simultaneous 2-player, but the rounds are accompanied by good tunes and are short enough to enjoy back and forth.

I don't like Dr Mario, and World of Goo would only have left me with 500 points for another game and there's nothing I really want (in WiiWare) for 500. Thanks for the advice everyone but I ended up going with my own idea anyway which is Arkanoid Plus, just because my girlfriend is already familiar with how to play it. I got myself Gradius Rebirth and Bit Trip Beat with the change

You can try Little Tournament Over Yonder - has a mix of simple strategy and simple fighting action.
Easy enough for kids to play, casual gamers can also pick it up easily.

Bubble Bobble, cute, deceptively simple, massively addictive.

You could wait until Manic Monkey Mayhem is out next Friday - it's got straightforward controls, a team mode for co-op, cute graphics and it's pretty good.

Bit Boy is pretty casual, but good.

Get BomberMan'83. The 1 player is pretty easy but then the multiplayer can be really intense if you have good players

Girls love that game and it's a great co-op platformer!

I recommend Target Toss Pro: Bags often (in a few other multiplayer threads on here). It is a fun, and casual game of beanbag toss, trying to throw it in a hole, a common backyard game. But I don't know if it's right for you, because the graphics aren't really "cute". Actually when I have girls over and they play it with me, and they choose the girl character in the TTP:B game, well, the girl character always gets a chuckle, her booty is kind of emphasized. On the other hand -- this game is easy to learn. It plays at a casual pace. It is simple. Motion controls are perfect. There are 2 choices each player can make for motion controls: Normal, or Sensitive. With Sensitive you can play it sitting on the couch. With Normal, you tend to stand up and throw the bags like real life motion.
