Anyone else wonder why only Sega have published Master System games so far? Are they not allowing other companies to publish games for it or does nobody else want to do so?
Nintendo's licensing policies of the day made third-party SMS development almost non-existent. As I understand, most third-party games were reprogrammed by Sega. The only original third-party developed games I can think of are Codemasters. A quick of Wikipedia doesn't show much that isn't available in another console version or is a license game.
I'd like Afterburner, Outrun 3D (You just have to pause the game to put it in 2D mode), Psycho Fox, Penguin Land and the Power Strike games. I'll settle for Shinobi to be going on with, for now.
I'd like to see SMS Shinobi, just so we can move on to other franchises finally. But I would really like to see Penguin Land. Also, does anybody know anything about the game Fantasy Zone: The Maze? Is it like a puzzle game with Fantasy Zone characters or something?
Yes. I don't have any nostalgic admiration for the series but it still needs to be on the VC. I'm really tempted to download OutRun on the XBOX 360 sometime.
