the Wii is beyond saving. As its sales figures indicate, no one's ever bought it.
Tbh the Wii doesn't need games. 90% of people who buy them get it for Wii Sports, play it for 2 months, then it sits collecting dust in a corner. For those who say "what? I buy tons of games!" -- you're the minority in a big way Trust me--I'm in your boat.

I don't think it will happen. The sales weren't the best for that game. When we looks at Excite Truck in North America It sold 398,025 according to VGChartz and it had the advantage of being a launch title. ExciteBots only sold 183,939.
No, see wii doesn't have a lot of good games coming out in 2011. It's not like De Blob will get a 10/10 or something but i heard from ign that every 5 years there comes a new console: Nes 1985, SNES 1990, n64 early 1996, gamecube early 2001 and wii 2006.(3DS not included, it's handheld) Sure they are not exactly right but it convinces me and many sites are talking about it too.
Now moving on. If you think that wii will not die then predict some games here. But do not post stuff we know. Like Zelda for example.
Oh and don't post anything that will rhyme ,, wii 2 ''
My game collection:Wii Sports,Star Wars The Force Unleashed,Link`s Crossbow Training,Golden Compass,Battalion Wars 2,Dirt 2,Equilibrio,World of Goo,Madworld and Deadly Creatures.
First: wii 2 haven't been announced so we don't know anything about it and this is posting page for the wii not wii 2. Second: We don't know much about kirby either but at least you know it's coming. Third: Save wii from not intresting games..... that is all. @Swerd_murd Well let me ask you something. If you think that it's happening with wii the why isn't it happening with ps3 and xbox 360. Dude you just don't care of wii and shame for you.

Anyway, I was worried for a bit but between the random recent Nintendo announcements and being optimistic after last year's E3, I think it'll be fine for this year unless NOA decides to be stupid or Xseed dissappears or something.

Um, he said he was one of the guys who BOUGHT games and USED his Wii. He likes it, pay more attention to posts.
This year there are only 3 good games announced: de blob 2, Conduit 2 and Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword (in order of release date). But are they enough to save wii? If you know any games that can save Wii then comment and may the wii be with you, always.
Someone's been reading IGN, huh.
We don't know if The Last Story, Xenoblade, or Pandora's Box will come out in the West yet, so there's no counting on them.
But if it's not a shooter or skateboard related he just doesn't give a damn. If there's bright colorful cartoon graphics he laughs at it....I tried showing him Braid and he looked at me as if I were retarted. You gotta love close minded and clueless people!
This is why hardcore fans baffle me. I know a lot of so called "hardcore" fans who play nothing but shooters and say you're not hardcore unless you play COD, but come on. Even my SISTER plays COD, and she's as casual gamer as they come. My brother, who refuses to touch a videogame, let alone play it, will play 007 Goldeneye every once in a while if it's with a group of friends. People don't seem to realize that it's not that games played that make you a hardcore gamer but the way you play.
I think if people could figure that out and suck up their insecurities, they could get more fun out of the Wii and its so-called "kiddy games". But the West is far too intent on trying to be "adultish" and "manly", and playing games like Kirby just isn't manly. It's a shame, really, that they're missing out on such great games...
I dont think wii need saving yet since it the top selling console w/the top selling games.
Sales? Let Reggie Fils-Aime worry about sales. Gamers don't care about that crap--Gamers care about new games to play. Last year by February we already had Tatsunoko vs Capcom, The Sky Crawlers, Endless Ocean: Blue World Wii Speak bundle, new pink and Blue Wiimotes for Valentines Day, Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing, and No More Heroes 2.
There's all those RPG games people "think" are coming to America(and oh there's so wrong). Nintendo games make it hard for other games to get attention by gamers. The Wii has some good games but I like to stick with my DS.
Souls are for the weak. I flow with the darkness on the pathway of depression.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii 2 would "save" the Wii. 2010 was a great year for Wii games which makes 2011 look pretty blah outside of the new Kirby, Zelda, and the RPGs that will probably never see the light of day outside of Japan.
Mother 4 would be nice too... but that would fall into the RPG category above.
The answer, of course, is Wii Save. In Wii Save, your Mii characters will be dressed up as cute firemen, policemen, paramedics, doctors, lifeguards and more. In single-player mode you can save the same Miis who used to be your opponents in Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort. In online mode you and your friends can save each other from certain death, or leave each other to die in a cute and comical way before being revived in the Miimergency Room.
Wii Save will save the Wii!
Moco Loco If you find yourself spiritually drifting (as I was for far too many years), remember that Jesus can and will walk across the water to reach you and bring you back to shore.
There more than that. Theres Xenoblade, The last story, rhythm paradise wii, that new kirby wii game, fatal frame II (if it gets a western release) and tower of pandora. There should be more announced at e3 too.
None of those games have a western release date last I checked. Just an FYI. Who knows what ones we will get.
Xenoblade was on a recent release schedule from NOA under it's original name of Monado: the beggining of the world and The last story was confirmed for european release on a French website. Well it wasn't exactly cofirmed but what was said made it sound like it was coming but wouldn't be out in Europe for a long time because of all the translation needed. Rhythm paradise is quite likely since the DS one was released in the west. I would be surprised if the new Kirby wii game didn't get a western release because the last Kirby game that was Japan only was that SNES puzzle game and I think that might've been the only Japan only Kirby game but I'm not sure so correct me if I'm wrong on that one. Since Xenoblade and The last story are getting western releases, it's more likely that Tower of Pandora will be released in the west unless the former two sell poorly and I already stated that Fatal Frame II might not get a western release.
As for the quality, overall, when counting 2006-2010, it's more then enough for me to enjoy, but there's only four good games in 2011, which is terrible to say the least (Copy paste the list above and add The Grinder for potential good titles). Problem being is that most people are not going to look back for good games and expect them as either recently or upcoming.
I love my Wii, but unless Nintendo can do something about it (Which they should), it will never be known to most core gamers then a waggle-fest shovelware console that should be avoided.
One way to save the Wii is to localize games into the west as they promised to do. Nintendo should recognize that they have a drought in hand and they should at least try to add in some wet spots to it.
I dunno, if it's anything like the last 2 years, I could probably find half a dozen other games if I looked for more than 2 minutes. But I am lazy right now so I don't know if it's anything like the last 2 years.
