I'd mainly like mandatory sidequests. Basically, you can't access the next area (e.g. Death Mountain) until you can carry more deku seeds, etc. This would lengthen the game significantly.
If they're mandatory, then they are not sidequests

I want: -A different villain (like Dark Link or Majora or every villain from a Zelda game) -A different area like Termina or the Windfish Island -Different endings (like Chrono Trigger) -LOTS of sidequests (like Majora's Mask) -Nintendo references (like in Link's Awakening) -Ability to change between seasons/ timelines, etc. -A Link that grows as the game progresses.
Give me that, and I'll be the happiest person in the universe. Until Chuck Norris Round-House-Kicks me.
and hope that the game still lets you PLAY after finishing it instead of freezing at a "The End" screen.
This. Zelda never lets you see what happens to Hyrule after you beat the game! I think this would be a really addition, and a second quest a la The Legend of Zelda or Wind Waker would be wonderful.

I'd like to see more Ritos! Those are my favorite little Zelda race (next to the Anoukis) and I'd like to see a more Twilight Princess-like approach to them.

Sean Aaron ~ "The secret is out: I'm really an American cat-girl." Q: How many physicists does it take to change a light bulb? A: Two, one to hold the light bulb, the other to rotate the universe.
That. Would. Be. AWESOME!!!!!!! Also, I too would like to be able to play after the "The End" screen. The first time I beat OoT I thought the game froze and I would have to beat it again.
A 50/50 balance, maybe. Then again, the puzzles make the game.

I don't have any wishes but one and I just let Nintendo do what they think is good My only wish is: orchestratedmusic ! Super Mario Galayx had it. So if the New Zelda Wii doesn't have it there's no excuse! Zelda games always had the greatest music and themes so they have to give it orchestral music! I think they will anyways, Twilight Princess most probably just didn't have it since it was a Gamecube title...
What? Didn't TP have orchestrated music? If it didn't it sure fooled me..... Anyway, i got more ideas.
1. An epic story blown up to the proportions of Blue Dragon! (6 discs!) 2. Some insight on WHICH FREAKIN' ORDER IN THE TIMELINE THE GAMES ARE!!!!!!!! 3. Also, I don't know how they would incorperate this, but a flashback to an older game with the same gameplay and graphics like in Metal Gear Solid 4. (I don't own MGS4, just read about this moment in the game.)
I'm pretty sure I think I'm funnier than I really am. 10 Years of Kingdom Hearts 3DS Friend Code: 0301-9785-9580 [url=http://www.youtube.com/user/NeoStormGaming]Watch me and my friends play games! Now with better visual qualit...
It would be cool if the storyline was a bit less linear so you can basically do the dungeons in any order you wish. It would be nice if the items you obtain in the dungeons would be very effective against bosses in other dungeons so you could add in an element like in Mega Man where you have to figure out which boss is weak to what weapon. I think that would work very well.
