All I want is Zelda game that inspires the people making it. I think that's what was missing in Twilight Princess. Although superficially it seems like it should be the best Zelda yet, it almost felt like the makers were 'going through the motions' of creating a Zelda title. One thing I've learned about Zelda games is that the fans are usually wrong. They've resisted change in every instance, not realising that ALL the best Zelda games have been the ones that broke away from what came before. That's why I'm unbelievably exited about the next game. By all accounts it's going to be a new experience for Zelda fans, and that's when the whole development team are at their best.

I think it would be kinda cool to have mini-dungeons that basically have you running around in full 3D representations of the dungeons from the NES game.
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
in all seriousness, i would LOVe more weapons than just a sword, then a better sword (and maybe a hammer). i'd like different equipable main weapons with different fighting styles associated.

Not that this is an important factor, but maybe some better graphics. Hyrule would look BEAUTIFUL. Again, not important, though. Graphics do not make a game.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
A MMO.............lol jk What I really want is bosses that actually is a challenge. I think I died at one boss on my first playthrough.
I hear its amazing when the famous purple stuffed worm in flap-jaw space with the tuning fork does a raw blink on hari-kiri rock!!! I NEED SCISSORS!!! 61!!!
I do not want that, but fortunately it's already clear that Motion Plus will be the only way to control the game.
I know that the conventional attitude is in favor of alternative control options, but to me that typically just means failing to follow through with the core gameplay vision. The controls are so wedded to the identity of a well-polished game (particularly a motion-controlled game, of course) that a developer needs to commit to a specific, extremely well-honed scheme and build the rest of the gameplay around that. Having an option for a completely different type of control would be like a developer failing to decide on the basic color scheme for the levels and instead offering the ability to combine and build your own. It's their job to bring the entire package together in such a manner that the player can't imagine it working better in any other form, not to take a pass on key decisions and just add option menus.
Amen to that. This game can potentially be as revolutionary as Ocarina of Time--this game could seriously change the way people think about action games and the legitamacy of motion controls. In order for that to happen, Nintendo needs to perfect the motion plus thing. I don't care if my arms get tired, if that's what it takes for innovation then I'm all for it.

Okay, my list is: Slashing from horseback (a la Twilight Princess), Mario references (after seeing one in Majora's Mask), Hookshot returning, as I thought the Clawshot was weird, a party (like in RPGs), multiplayer co-op and deathmatch if a party is to be included, and hope that the game still lets you PLAY after finishing it instead of freezing at a "The End" screen.

I'd mainly like mandatory sidequests. Basically, you can't access the next area (e.g. Death Mountain) until you can carry more deku seeds, etc. This would lengthen the game significantly.
