Topic: What do you want in the new Zelda game?

-Yes, I want Epona back
-Definitely more sidequests
-More heart pieces
-Epic music
-Incredibly deep storyline
-More dungeons than Twilight Princess
-An easy to use warp method
-No time system

Most of all though, new and unique items combined with old items that you use equally in all of the temples. Not like the spinner in Twilight Princess where you really only used it in one temple.

The return of two-handed swords.

I'd like to see a dungeon that uses mirror/twin room puzzles. There's a level in Zack & Wiki where it appears that you're in a room with a large mirror, but it turns out it's actually one big room with all the objects the same on either side (almost), and one phantom doppelgänger serving as your reflection (and carrying the treasure chest into the other room when you find the way around so it appears the chest is only in the reflection). I'd like to see what Zelda can do with that sort of formula, the Z&W level was great.
Perhaps that would be where our old favourite Dark Link makes his appearance.

A Fallout 3 like Zelda experience. Map-wise at least.

While I admit that would be kinda cool, let's get real. This is a Zelda game we're talking about. The whole point of the game is to STOP the world from being destroyed, instead of having it already be destroyed. More ideas:

1. Like others have said, FLYING!
2. Sword clashes like in the Ganon battle of TP.
3. The return of different types of arrows.
4. More humor, which recent Zelda games haven't exactly had a surplus of.

• RPG elements
• Side-weapons to go with the sword, like an Axe or Mace, which can also be used in puzzles somehow.
• More challenge
• Some location other than Hyrule, like Termina
• A story that doesn't boil down to saving Zelda
• 300-style decapitations

I'm pretty sure he was referring to the HUGE sandbox environment in Fallout 3, not its state. I'd definitely be down for something along those lines, as long as it had as many (not likely, but at least a few) side-quests as Fallout 3's sandbox...

Oh. Well in that case, sure, that would be great! Which reminds me, we haven't had a true open-world Wii game yet.....

What I really want is stupid enemies like in Wind Waker

I want Link to shoot laser beams out of his sword at full health, like he did in some of the 2D games.

Pink hair would be funny too, but I don't see that one happening again ever.

No multiplayer whatsoever. Or online. Not in a Zelda game. I want at least 8 dungeons though.

Reading this thread, it shows that at least a couple people here will be very disappointed.
