Not sure if i already posted it. But Bonks Adventure. I had heard good things, so i though i would give it a go. But the game feels a bit B grade, i dunno. Not my cup of tea i suppose.
4. Wario's Woods The boss battles were novel, but I was basically looking for a puzzler fix to hold me over until Tetris Attack was released. Still waiting on that, and Wario's Woods is totally not filling the void.
I actually really like this game. I only had it when I owned Animal Crossing though.
I'd have to say Wrecking Crew. Just too slow and boring. Other than that, pretty happy with my purchases.
The best strategy in the game: go up stairs and pause balls.
Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure -- Thought it would be fun to try out a platform game with nice animation and action components for a change. Unfortunately the visuals make it difficult to tell where you're going to go and the animation, whilst nice, does make it difficult to dodge enemy attacks. The other big draw, the 2600 port (not emulated, but it's close enough I guess) of Pitfall requires input of the lengthy code every time you want to play, so kind of removes the draw.
Space Harrier -- Well, if you read my review you can get the feel. Really a 5 was pretty generous of me. I cannot see much replay value in the game; if I want to play a sprite-based on-rails 3D shooter, Blaster is far better and I have that on Midway Arcade Treasures for Gamecube (sucks that I have to use HBC to run it!); if I want a polygon-based one Solvalou is also superior.
Starblade -- On-rails coin-sucker like Space Harrier, but only an hour long. I could see going for high score attacks, but I just didn't enjoy it enough to bother with that. Solvalou it is!
The Super Shinobi -- I've yet to actually delete this, but the game isn't really as much fun to play as the original arcade Shinobi; once I get that I cannot see spending more time with this. The main irritant is the fact that getting hit by enemy ranged attacks causes you to bounce back; often this results in falling off a cliff -- wash, rinse, repeat, delete!
I'll second Pitfall - I mostly got it for my not-too-positive review, and the score should explain my impression with it fairly well. It's by no means an awful game, but it has silly little annoyances up the ass, and absolutely no real redeeming qualities to make up for them. Flawed, generic, ill-designed platformers aren't really worth your points.

I read a bad review of it on IGN I think and chose to ignore it to my regret...
kirby and the krystal shards for the 64 i thought when it said the game was 3d, you could walk around in an open world like Super Mario Galaxy, but all it was was the same old kirby game...in blocky 3d. there was nothing special in the series. just walking around and sucking up enemies and using their powers. not only that, but it was so incredibly EASy. i think i beat the game in a couple hours. and i had no desire to go back and get the rest of the shards. the only new and fun thing about the game is that you could combine powers which made me combine every power in the game just to see what it made. you could also play as king dedede for like 5 minutes in the game, but hes to fat and slow to enjoy so I'm pretty happy you didn't play as him much...

Cruis'n USA and megaman 3. Megaman wasn't a bad game, but was just ridiculously hard that it became unenjoyable.
I completely agree with that. megaman 2 was one of my favorite games, but megaman 3 is just so freaking hard. i always get to the boss or something where they take out like 6 pixels of damage a hit
Bomberman 93 and Bomberman Blast are pretty huge regrets for me. I find that these are only useful for at home multiplayer, and really, I don't have 4 friends who want to play this game with me, so its pretty useless. The online for BB is pathetic too and disappointing.
Other than that, I enjoy most of my downloads. Alien Soldier however, in retrospect lacks depth and I find it has little replay value for me. It looks better than it plays, so I was excited upon first seeing it- but for 900 points, I should have picked up Gradius II or Gley Lanser instead.
I'm not going into the obvious ones, instead just some personal dislikes here.
Ice Hockey (NES) It's a good multiplayer game but if you don't have some retro sports fans around, this will collect dust quickly.
Kirby's Dream Course (SNES) I like golf and strategy, and the mixture of both seemed appealing. This game has deep mechanics. Maybe too deep. And I can't sit down to put the time in it needs.
Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels (NES) In the SNES version you can save after each stage. In the VC version you have to beat a world (4 stages) to save. That makes this very difficult game even harder. I'd love to see uninformed casual people downloading it because it says "Mario" in the title, just to get their a**es handed over a few minutes into the game.
Super Punch-Out!! (SNES) I liked the NES version but I just have no motivation to play this one. I think the reason is the bad soundtrack, compared to the upbeat NES-version. I played it 3 or 4 times when I got it but it's on the shelves in favour of other more interesting games. When I went out to buy the Wii version, I came back home with Another Code R. I can see why Super Punch-Out!! is great, but well, it seems boxing games are just not my favourites.
I'm not disappointed with the Virtual Console at all, but on WiiWare I burned some serious money.
Family & Friends Party Unplayabale because of a coding bug. Why did nobody warn me??
Defend Your Castle 100% rubbish. The audiovisuals are crap and the gameplay is a total waste of 500 points.
MaBoShi Nice presentation and innovative features... that are useless in 3 very simplistic boring minigames.
My Aquarium I wouldn't miss it if a virus comes to snatch it up.
Pop Them, Drop Them SAMEGAME Compared to the luxurious modes of the freeware version "Super Collapse" on PC, Samegame is a heavily watered-down version that disappointed everyone I know, me included of course.
I don't regret any of mine, but if I did have to choose, I would say Mario Bros.. I thought it would atleast have some good background music, but it's all quiet and it makes it kinda bland. But it is fun for a while.
I don't have any WiiWare games, to tell you the truth. They all looked weird or boring except for Dr. Mario and Tetris.
I like all of mine. Solomon's(sp?) Key is my least favourite, though I was gifted it.

i have 2 games frist gunstar heroes its a good game but i got it after hearing so much that its like contra so i bought it and disappointed that it wasn't then kirby 64 i never played it so i got it, but disappointed that they left 80% of powers for combination powers and it felt broken
Sim City: Loved it as a kid. Hate it as an adult. It feels like work. Sonic 3: I got caught up in the reviews. I'm just not a Sonic fan. I've been in the House of Mario my whole life. Contra III: That game is so frackin' hard. Even on EASY. What sicko thought that game up? Without my UUDDLRLRBA select start, how am I supposed to last on that thing?
Samurai Shodown II ..... HARD as hell, and i don't suck in fighting games, i am veteran SFII player.
For a while I too was disappointed with Shodown II. It´s very hard indeed, and I guess you can´t play it like SF II. Yesterday I tried several times to beat Jubei, and I actually think I´m beginningt to learn! You have to be very defensive and try to attack when your opponent is recovering from their own attack animation.
It´s still dead hard, but I don´t regret it anymore.
Thanks, after reading that I tried those tactics (on Samurai Shodown - as starting to find it v hard in the later stages) and its working well so cudos.
