the remote won't let me release the ball but it lets me play other sports games in Wii Resort. Is it the battery low?

You could try putting a fresh battery in and find out if that's the problem yourself

I charged the battery. I use the B buttion for release. That is the problem. the only way I can bowll is to use auto release which is a pain. I will try other game to see if the B buttion works there

You know you're meant to hold down the B button before and during your swing and release the button when you intend to let go of the ball, right?
