Congrats. I have plenty of time to finish Prime 2 and buy and finish Super Metroid as I won't be getting Other M for a while.
QUEEN OF SASS
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
madgear, just keep jumping rapidly and you'll eventually fly out. it's not too hard, you just have to stick with it. i remember that once you get about halfway across you can even turn into the morph ball and roll under some of the the pillars. if you are where i think you are, you're about to go up against one of the best 'puzzles' in the game.
well looks like I'm not supposed to be down there yet as the last pillar is way too high. Prob need another jump upgrade. Well been playing for hours now and got nowhere - youtube vids not helping as people are skipping things using glitches confusing me further. What a load of crap this game is - can't wait until I've beaten it for good.
I've done it! That's both Prime 3 and Super Metroid finished this bank holiday weekend - and a day to spare until September! I'm going to take back some of the things I said about Super Metroid - it's not a load of crap. My problem was looking at YouTube guides when I got stuck - I thought things like "that jump is impossible! I'll never be able to do that part!" then found out myself I wasn't supposed to do that part yet and they're just using glitches and shortcuts in their videos.
I seriously recommend playing through it without watching any videos as they'll just confuse you rather than help - play through it your own way and you'll enjoy it much more. Right, bring on Other M! I'm ready for it now!
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
You all must be better people than me because I played about halfway through all the Prime games and just said "this sucks, I think I'll play something I enjoy instead of trying to finish these just because they say Metroid on them". I just couldn't get into them at all. You know how peopl say 1st Person is the most immersive viewpoints for games? For some reason it's the opposite for me. I guess it's because I feel like I'm just watching through their eyes, but not being a part of it (if that makes sense), whereas 3rd person allows me to watch and know that I'm directing their actions and actually seeing the action taking place.
I am the one you despise. I am he who says what you really deep down know but are affraid to admit. I am the Anti-Fanboy, the crusader of truth in a world built on your lies.
Hello madgear. As I see from your profile you are from england and apparently played the PAL version of Metroid Prime 3. I'm still playing MP3 and want to trade friend vouchers to unlock some stuff in the Extras menu. I'm from germany and I need someone from europe too.
I just started playing and can only give you 4 vouchers right now but I'm sure I'll be getting more as I go through the game and I would be very glad to give them to somebody as I earn them.
My friend code is 8774-7328-5479-5790 (Wii username is "Chris"). If you want to give me your friend code, too, I would be very happy. If not, never mind me asking.
Yes, I think you are right. - It's a shame that the original Prime 3 and the Prime 3 from the Trilogy are not compatible. Thanks for letting me know, though.
