Tournament of Legends offers a 3D fighting experience for one or two players, featuring a host of fighters based on legends from world mythology: the Minotaur, a powerful Gladiator, a mighty Valkyrie and other well known and awe-inspiring characters. Take these fighters to epic battles in fantastic fighting arenas where the combatants wield legendary weapons, launch magical attacks and dodge giant mythological creatures that protect their lairs. The game also features an Interactive Training mode and supports the Classic Controller™.

Tournament of Legends cinematic effects and graphics are fueled by the High Voltage Software Quantum 3 engine, specifically designed and optimized for Wii. Large 3D mythological fighters move fluidly while all fighting arenas, characters, and magical attacks are polished by advanced real-time lighting, blended animation, cinematic colour curves and more.

We actually have a confirmed release date for NA, May 18th. I don't mind the thematic change, but the amount of depth seems to be toned down unless there is something that the press release and the IGN article aren't telling us.

I read the IGN article, and this sounds a lot like "Rage of the Gladiator," but without Wii MotionPlus. I wouldn't be surprised if RotG actually surpasses this.

Tournament of Legends has been delayed. A new trailer has been released on youtube. Doesn't look too exciting, but it ToL will be released on July 6th as opposed to May 18th. Luckily the game will only set you back $30 as the MSRP is $29.95 for those interested in the title.

It's a 3D fighter so not really the same as Rage of the Gladiator, though it is thematically similar. I've never been a fan of 3D fighters, so I'll probably give it a pass, but it'll be interesting to see how it looks in action.

How much will it be in the UK? Seems an alright price and I might pick it up if I'm bored, the mechanics look alright but it looks like it's severely lacking in content.

I don't think it'll be my kinda thang either, but I'll keep an eye on it

It actually looks surprisingly good, though it's still a 3D fighter and therefore not of interest.

SRP in the States is US$29.99, but I expect UK will be £24.99 rather than £19.99.
