Okay, so the NeoGeo games on the VC already mainly aren't all that great because they are the very early ones but those from the mid nineties are great and if they concentrated on that era then I would be downloading several of them.
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
All I have so far are Metal Slug and Samurai Shodown II. None of the others look particularly good; well, the fighters do, but between Samurai and Street Fighter, I have my fighting needs more than met.
What later games are good? Has any reason been given for the lack of Neo Geo support recently? Neo Geo was way to expensive for my allowance at the time, so I'm completely oblivious to most of its library.
Wow; did you guys just say Robo Army & Last Resort?! Did you know those were games that appeared on that old 90's Nickelodeon Show called Nick Arcade with Phil Moore! He'd always say & sing wacky stuff on the show! (It's the Video Challenge, doo doo, doo doo doo doo doo! Now let's move the Mikester)!
I'm a bit burned out on the King of Fighters games. I guess just too many over the years and I'm finally getting tired of them. Besides, I'd much rather see a new Garou: Mark of the Wolves sequel.
I never really played anything on the Neo Geo besides the Metal Slug series. King of Fighters XII looks pretty cool so I decided I'm going to give it a shot. Were there any other good games on Neo Geo besides Metal Slug and all the numerous fighting games?
Some great shooters like Blazing Star, Viewpoint, Prehistoric Isle 2, Pulstar, and Last Resort. There was also the really cool Neo Bomberman and Neo Mr. Do games. But fighting games did dominate the library.
I think I'd rather wait for SNK collection 2. I'm glad I didn't some of those on the VC already, because I'd been really upset when they came out with that compilation, like they did.
If people are going to comment, they are going to comment. There is no need to spam the thread for attention. But just so you'll stop: Nick Arcade was awesome. I always wanted to go inside the game like those kids did. I had no idea they were Neo Geo games at the time, though, because I didn't know what a Neo Geo was then.

From what I've seen, Garou and the Last Blade series are greatly under-appreciated fighters.
Yet why has no one failed to comment on my nice cool fun post; about the Neo Geo games that were on that lovable old Nickelodeon Show Nick Arcade?!
Curiosity got the best of me and I checked out Nick Arcade on Youtube, and wow....it certainly had a very early 90's look and feel to it. I guess this was one of those things eager to cash in on the popularity of video games, but the makers weren't quite sure how to do it.
I'm kinda on the fence whether I will get any more Neo Geo games if the ever come out. I was really excited when I saw them on the VC, an obscenely expensive system I never saw, let alone played, now at my fingertips at only nine bucks a pop.... I immediately got Samurai Shodown and Metal Slug. A few months later I discovered the SNK collection for the Wii, and for less than the cost of the above mentioned games I got the compilation, which of course included both games. So I felt a bit ripped off, whatever, caveat emptor. My point is, I feel like it's a lose-lose situation. If they release new VC games I won't get them because SNK Classics 2 may come out, but if it never does than I feel like i'll be missing out on some great games.... but yeah it's kinda BS that there are so few titles available considering the library.
