I read in the latest issue of game informers magazine that NoA officially received its U.S. trademark on The Last Story and a north american copyright patent was just confirmed by Mistwalker studios |D
What do you make of this new information and does it improve the chances of an american release? I'd like to see your comments |D

But yeah, this was just NOA gaining rights to the name in case they wanted to localize it. The trademark was filed in January, and Nintendo still hasn't confirmed any plans to release Last Story. Don't hold your breath.

"Thankfully, some hope exists in the face of all this madness. Nintendo officially received its U.S. trademark on The Last Story recently, so hopefully we'll get news on a release date soon."
I thought this happened long ago? I guess I got confused with the UK site. Idc I don't really want the game anymore. I'm making Kirby my last game. But hopes to the rest of ya!
I doubt America will get the game, at least not for a long time after it comes out in Europe (and probably Australia). Just import it. Your Wii should already be region unlocked from when you import Xenoblade Chronicles anyway =P I live in Australia and can't wait for this game, along with the other two. Good luck to you guys!
Didn't they trademark the name like a year ago? Seriously, people always flaunt trademarks as if it's a solid piece of evidence for a game's release, when honestly it could mean anything.

The trademark was sent in a year ago, but it wasn't finalized until July of this year. Still means nothing, though.

It hasn't been announce for your country either, and it's not like all of us can afford a PAL Wii. :/

It may not have any official confirmation or release date, etc. but it's pretty much confirmed for Europe, if I am correct... which would normally be followed by an Australian release (not that it matters because an Australian Wii plays European games anyway). Wouldn't hold my breath for North America though...

I've heard of Pandora's Tower comimg to EUR but none of Last Story... But just cause one game doesn't reach America, doesn't mean that the rest won't.

Oh really? I've actually read a lot more about The Last Story coming to Europe than I have with Pandora's Tower... but in the end it does seem like Europe will get all three. You can't completely count out that North America could get some of these games, especially if Xenoblade Chronicles sells really well in Europe... but chances are they might not get any from the signs that they've shown so far. It shouldn't matter too much though... Anyone who wants it that badly should just import it, the Wii is easily hacked.
