okay **** CoD whoever even buys their games is just stupid theyve milked out the genre!!! and poeple support them by buying the games like hell NEED TO BUY THIS ITS FRESH AND IT ADDS IMPROVEMENT (not like cod)
you have to feel bad for high voltage. they may not be very good gamemakers, but they're about the only 3rd party to stand by the wii and push what it can do. it's thanks to them that we've seen the full potential of the wiimote unlocked, with their customization becoming standard for every new game. unfortunately i guess no amount of good intentions and loyalty can make mediocre games good....
they'd really better nail it this time, or they could be in trouble.
Just read that. It's a shame, really. Hope Conduit 2 is a success though. It's got some SERIOUS competition (Goldeneye and CoD: Black Ops)
man i feel like this is my fault i only brought conduit 1 so far of their awesome games

I'm very interested in getting conduit 2 even though I have mixed feelings for the first one. The idea of voice chat on Wii WITH headset makes me salivate. However I do have to see how well it's competition turns out. Mainly Goldeneye and Black Ops.

If Gears of War and Halo had a baby Yet I still don't like the Box Art, it's very generic and overall bluh.
This looks INCREDIBLY generic. I'm getting a little tired of games that look like souped up space marines on a quest to save...space. I know that's probably not the plot, but it sure looks like it could be!
I'm just getting sick of stuff like this:
Can we please get away from this look?
I'm working on a game that's coming out soon! Cipher Trailer
why not use generic advertising for generic games? (although i don't think dead space belongs there)
it's simultaneously reassuring and disheartening to see conduit 2 adopting so many FPS conventions. at least you know you're getting something tried and true, so it'll be playable at the very least, but it's kind of an admission that they don't have any ideas of their own to rely on.
there's something special about the wiimote scheme in the first conduit that almost compensates for how completely bland the game is in every other regard. they could have created their own brand of FPS based on what the remote can do instead of just cloning dual analog shooters, but i guess their idea is to just give up when it comes to gameplay since they got it so wrong the first time.
it'll definitely be better than the first game, but the danger is that it'll be an inferior version of call of duty with great wii controls. still not exactly what i want to buy.
Conduit 2's box art guarantees that the game will sell many copies. It's actually more badass than Halo 3's box art. It's generic, yes, but so is propably the game itself. .
Here's the first game's NL review, for those interested.
The only thing I didn't like about the first game's single player was using the ASE so much later on in the game.
I wouldn't have minded the ASE so much if it wasn't just for hacking/unlocking doors and could be interrupted by getting attacked. It just seemed underused; especially when you had Prometheus telling you about stuff it was sending him - having it act like the tricorder in Star Trek: Elite Force II (or the different visors in Metroid Prime Trilogy) would have been better. Apparently it will do more stuff in this sequel, so we'll just have to see!

FYI: Only Master Chief out of those could qualify as a "space marine". If you'd prefer, they could go for the completely ridiculous, such as this:

Indeed! Perhaps the MotionPlus will help give it some new tricks
is anyone else wondering how they're going to handle control customization for 4 player split screen? in lieu of sign-in profiles like the 360 offers, they could let each player save presets that could be selected quickly at the start a session. i hope they do something like that, because if they make you set up your controls from scratch each time (or worse yet, don't offer customization at all) my enthusiasm will be dampened something fierce. i have some faith they'll come up with something...
