I can imagine a friend of mine getting mad as I rain down a hail of SMAW and Shrieker rockets. And then getting shocked as three small SCAR bullets headshot him... ah.. I'm already excited. It might be the 2nd game I've ever preordered (1st was SSBB.. perfect starter, eh?)
Also heard alternate fire for most human weapons (e.g. machine guns and the like) will be ADS... another thing that makes me want to buy this game. I think it's coming out sometime in November.(around the time black ops comes out for the DS, another one to preorder)

Actually, local split-screen will be available for all multiplayer modes, not just coop.

Is that the official boxart? I think it looks really cool, with all the flames, and the armor, and...the Conduit 2.
Of course, the weapon in his hands that looks like it could blow a hole the size of a bowling ball in a Drudge helps make it look even cooler.

Will definitely get this. I loved the first one, even though it was very flawed. I hope the online is better, but even then, local makes it worthwhile. That is, if there's no lag. If the frame rate dips at all, I may have second thoughts.
The best strategy in the game: go up stairs and pause balls.
I actually went to my local EB Games and bought the original in anticipation. I've been playing online here and there but the second I saw someone glitching I flipped out and turned it off.
There wasn't really any lag and getting into a match only took around 30 seconds rather than oh say 4 minutes. Hopefully Conduit 2 will have servers like CoD where you jump right into a match and begin to raise hell.
insta buy played the first game like hell! until i braked it (really the disk explode insinde my wii, was gaming with a friend for 50 hours straid without sleep) aaaah those good days...
you have to feel bad for high voltage. they may not be very good gamemakers, but they're about the only 3rd party to stand by the wii and push what it can do. it's thanks to them that we've seen the full potential of the wiimote unlocked, with their customization becoming standard for every new game. unfortunately i guess no amount of good intentions and loyalty can make mediocre games good....
they'd really better nail it this time, or they could be in trouble.

Just read that. It's a shame, really. Hope Conduit 2 is a success though. It's got some SERIOUS competition (Goldeneye and CoD: Black Ops)
