Topic: The best Wii game of 2010?

I'd have to say GoldenEye, the multiplayer is addictive and the single player is done very nicely with good detail to "ninjaring" around the place. Shame that (from personal experience) many people don't seem to be playing online.

I've only bought three retail games this year, with Super Mario Galaxy 2 being a conspicious non-purchase, and they're all amazing. Sin & Punishment 2 is yet another treasure masterpiece and about as hardcore as a game can get. Kirby's Epic Yarn is pure, unadulterated, imaginative joy bursting from a videogame. I think I grinned from ear to ear for the first six hours I played it. The guy's at Good Feel are 2 for 2 with 2D platformers on the Wii and their latest is their greatest. Can't wait to see what's next from those cats. Lastly, Donkey Kong Country is already better than Super Mario Bros. Wii, not to mention all the previous Donkey Kong Country games, and I'm only halfway through the third world. Not sure which I would say is my favorite. They're all awesome for different reasons.

The only WiiWare release I've played that holds a candle to these awesome retail experiences is bit.Trip Runner. Despite being balls hard I couldn't put that game down, if not for the fact that going without blinking for two hours eventually forced you to stop for a little bit at least.

Im waiting for Kirby's Epic Yarn & Goldeneye 007 to make my final decition, im sure one of them will go on my top 3 list.

There should be no doubt that Bit.Trip Runner is the best Wiiware game this year. I can't think of anything else that comes close.

I'd say Sonic 4, imo. Love that game.

Whoever doesn't vote Other M for best Wii game of 2010 is sexist.

Metroid Other M isn't anything special... but I don't want kingbuilder to think I'm sexist either... I better vote for it.

Didn't Little King's Story win some thing for last year though?

Haven't played DKC: Returns or Epic Mickey (obviously) so this could change but as of right now, it's between Super Mario Galaxy 2 and GoldenEye 007. I'll wait until I've had more time to think about it but I'm leaning towards GE because it has great online and offline multiplayer going for it in addition to a great single-player campaign.

Out of all the great ones I pick Super Mario Galaxy 2.

But best WiiWare game in general should go to Cave Story.

Actually it is scientifically proven that RUNNER is just a teeny tiny bit better than Cave Story. Sorry to disappoint, but them's the breaks.
