Honestly, I don't want him to turn back to normal...
That's my problem with the pirates. It seems almost lazy to me that they're all so similar. I was happy jungle exploration wasn't as much of an emphasis as in the first one. Also, I loved some of the dialogue lines in this one but I was laughing out loud from the first one (mostly because of MDS). Most of the lines I found funny stem from interactions between LeChuck and Guybrush (one that comes to mind is when LeChuck admits that he's handsome).
