This puzzle is one of the slightly annoying ones in which you have to find a really small item. If you don´t happen to stumble upon the hotspot you tend to search like the whole game which sometimes ruins Point and Click Adventures for me.
shrugs When I see words like "porcelain" or "china", it just registers in my mind as "glass". I'm not going to nitpick about sand / clay / blown / fired or whatever else.
Anyway, I didn't get to the bar fight until later (remember when I said I overlooked the clothesline? that includes the clothes on the line) so the broken drink glass wasn't there yet when I was trying to figure out the doll. Even when I finally did get the broken glass on the ground I was still expecting the "sword" to be glass, so I was skeptical of the plastic sword when I picked it up. I mean, how is a plastic sword with an olive on it going to fool anybody, right? (I tried it anyway, of course. I just didn't expect it to work.)
