Weird how they had to take down the DSiShop to do this. I guess they are the same servers....which would make sense since I'm sure the DSiWare doesn't warrant an individual server.
-Legend Of Zelda -Metroid -River City Ransom -Final Fantasy -Maybe Castelvina (1 or 3) I've never played it before but i've heard its good well actually i've never played any of these
hmm list which one you think i should get or if theres another one you think i should get btw the way already have smb 3 so ya

Connection Ambassador is up and running in the UK. 500 points (for both parties) for every Wii you connect.
Helping 10 people gets you Wii Connection Master Gold status (download entire NES library, for FREE!). Helping 20 people gets you Wii Connection Master Platinum status (download entire NES, SNES & N64 libraries, for FREE!).
Any titles bought before reaching Gold/Platinum status, can then be gifted (for FREE!) to Wii friends (once per title).
When this was announced, I was wondering what would happen if you'd already downloaded a lot of the free games. Cool deal if you can pull it off. Not that it matters very much to me since this isn't in America yet (if ever), but...good luck, guys!
Also, free NES game...not sure what I want, as I already have basically all the stuff I wanted. Might try River City Ransom, I guess.
My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P
@andy: not metroid. Not good at all nowadays, get Zelda or FF. Or Super C, that beats anything on your list. Wish I was getting a game...
hmmm so either zelda or ff wasnt to sure about zelda since i have a link to the past super c nah i already have metal slug for the vc =] though i kinda regret getting it cause i wanan buy the antolgoy from my freind for the psp lol so ff possibly
Yay, time for my "free" NES game! I just updated and bought Lost Winds 2 but I haven't decided what NES game to get yet. It will either be StarTropics 2 or Final Fantasy. Hmm, decisions, decisions.
Well I have until December 31th...so I'll wait a couple of weeks more to decide wisely and if in case another interesting NES game is released (I doubt it but you never know )
Thanks for the heads up. I snagged Adventures of Lolo 2, which I remember wanting when I was a kid, but I never got to play. Liking it quite a lot so far, and remembering how awful I still am at this kind of game...
For those who didn't get the update but are curious: You get mail on your Wii Message Board and you update. Then when you enter the Wii Shop, there's an option that says "Free Title" with the NES logo. If you go there, you get the entire NES catalog (save for the 600-priced ones) and all of them read "Free Title" where the pricing should be. Once you download one title of choice, the option disappears.

I thought you were Alexsays for a moment. Is he even still around? I liked that guy. EDIT: wait...why did I think you were Alexsays? My eyes must be playing tricks on me...
Anywho, since I don't know your tastes, I'll just comment on all of 'em:
Castlevania - if you like action-platformers, and don't mind the stiff controls and slow walking speed. I'd recommend the first over the third, since the third plays very similarly to the first, but is very brutal as far as its difficulty goes, to the point where it's just not fun.
The Legend of Zelda - Fun as any Zelda game, but it's pretty hard. Enemies don't drop hearts very often, there's essentially no map(there is one, but it sucks), no pots, and by the later levels, every death means a trip to the fairy fountain. It can get pretty frustrating and tedious at times, and I can't really recommend it unless you really love Zelda games.
Metroid - Same as Zelda, although I think it's aged a little better. I think you at least start out with full health when you die, enemies drop health frequently, and you always restart from the last checkpoint. Still, the enemies respawn whenever the the sreen scrolls back, which can be an incredible pain. Not to mention without a map - heck, even with a map, it's pretty easy to get lost. It's still a pretty tough sell, but if you're a big Metroid fan, and have enough patience. I'd say go for it.
River City Ransom - If you like Beat 'em ups and like having some RPG-esque elements(stats, level-up, buying new special attacks), and exploration elements(Whole world is connected, and you can go pretty much anywhere, provided you can handle the enemies in that area), then I'd say go for it, especially if you got someone else to play it with.
Final Fantasy - If you like old-school RPGs, and don't mind that it's pretty basic. Being able to choose the members of your party is a pretty nice touch, and the difficulty is more well-tuned compared to other games of its era. Also, it seems pretty well polished for an old NES RPG. Of course, the lack of ethers will always hurt this game...
