Topic: Super Smash Bros. on Monday?

@double sunday: And they said this would come out this holiday. Considering that Super Mario Kart is out, I believe they should go with there earlier announcement.

I heard somewhere it was coming, in fact it was StarFox that mentioned it in a thread. So Fox if you're wrong, I'm comin' down! Just kidding. By the way, they also said that Pilot Wings would be here before the years end. So that could ruin it, unless we happened to get both, but I doubt it.

Probably alot. I just got a ton of new games for my birthday the other day that I'm trying to focus on, so I'd kinda like it not to come. But it would be about time...I'm still gonna be mad even when does come out because I had to wait so long for it to finally reach and I don't even know why we had to wait this long...pathetic...

Like Mick said, trophies and stickers are just fluff, meant to look like they add a lot to the game, when they don't really do much.

The SSE wasn't much fun, it had okay cutscenes, but they weren't worth more time than watching them once takes up. Back to the SSE being not much fun, it was tolerable but not that good, the Great Maze at the end simply terrible.

The loads of characters is nice, although at the cost of a ton of balance.

SSB has the best items too. Melee made existing ones less enjoyable and added a few stupid ones, Brawl then added lots of stupid ones.

I like SSB a lot. It's simple arcade fun to it's core. Melee I never really cared for, and Brawl is an overstuffed update of the original.

But SSB is simplicity at it's best. Still my favorite N64 game.

If it doesn't show up tomorrow....

@Aquateen: So you're REALLY gonna quit the VC fanbase JUST because SSB doesn't arrive on the VC? Dude we have more games besides SSB ya know. Nintendo said themselves SSB would arrive in December. So there's no reason to quit the VC.

Yeah, if Nintendo says December, there's only 2 weeks left it could appear. So it'll be here in at least 15 days.

One day left. It all comes down to tomorrow. Will gamers get the game they've been waiting for or will they be having a sad little Christmas?

@Iz2009: I'm placing my bet on that we'll get Super Smash Bros. and Pilotwings. If I'm wrong, then I get to watch the PC Engine version of Street Fighter II: Champion Edition for an hour.

@SSBF: I wouldn't get my hopes up on two first party titles

@Iz2009: Nintendo promised that both games would be released before 2009 was over, so that's why I'm lumping them together.
